You can thank me afterwards  ;)  Honestly guys, these cars are great here, they look and sound amazing and the 302R is the more refined to drive so your not ploughing off into the desert with understeer. A grid full, sounds and looks epic.  :thumbup1:

(Pending Pete helping me out with the server or I may have to switch to something else)

I have a bit of a FFB issue with this car. When I increase camber and go over 90 degrees of steering lock, the FFB goes along the steering direction instead of counter force.

seems odd, my ffb was fine even with the more lairy 'opposite lock' older Mustangs in the pack. I tried a test race without issues with the 302R too.

This moment i dont know i am in or not... :-\

Pete has given the green light for the server (and thanks to SRW)  :) so all good to race. Anyone else tried this combo yet? Try an offline race with a 12-15 car grid, it looks and sounds superb  8)  Hopefully i'll get on the server this eve for some praccy.

I've tried the car elsewhere (France I think :D) and it's enjoyable - not tried it at Riverside yet, hoping to jump on the server tonight if it's up.

The default setup is terrible.  I uploaded the setup I used, not sure if it's good, but it worked for me, but I still may tweak it as it were just standard changes.

Great thanks for setup! My old 302 setup is not containig most of these parameters . Your setup will help me a lot at night practice, ( i hope)
I have no free time to be  practiced earlier... :-\ Due making my guitar!  :P

Will that setup still be up this the Jeff? I didn’t think it was that bad ..ie it handles like a bus so thought it was about right

Should still be on stracker I think, or else I will send it. Default had maximum ride height and almost softest ARB front and back. Last thing this car needs, is more body roll  :P

I'm curious to see what you've done Jeffrey - My gains were all created by setting up the car the way they used to in American club racing in the 60's (I found an interesting thread on this back on RSC before it imploded). Only thing I haven't done yet is followed the 'knowledge' on tire pressures - it shouldn't have even worked in the 60's by all accounts (but did) and I'll be amazed if AC's physics and some 3rd party tire parameters work out the same as history (Going to try anyway now as I have a second + to make up ;D ).
Minus the pressures though I had the car pulling some authentic tripod action out of certain corners under power 8)

I tried a setup to a more 'modern' approach and while it seems slightly faster on race fuel it can't keep up once the car lightens up a bit..

I seem to be having controller bugs with these cars. First the FFB with certain setup options, and during practice and race it just sometimes would no go into gear, even though I do the same thing every time  :-X.

Decided to quit, as it was just going to get boring and frustrating anyway.

poxy disco for me on only the third lap whilst 2nd  :taz:  :'(  gutted as I was loving that, though could have done with some cars closer to me and Fmg for entertainment. Were you all asleep at the start lights?  ;D

Have you tried another stock classic car Jeff? just to make sure its not your controller when pushed to extremities.  :-\

Was fun, thanks guys. But slightly tired to drive lonely. This mod needs to be huge updated. Sound, tyres, overall system is not following modern Kunos Standart.
BTW. Only one mod team is FULLY support all kunos tech. It's RSS cars mods. But they are payware.

Enjoyed that  ;D made a better star than some in front, then had go off to avoid an incident in front putting me back
in next to last. had great fun chasing people, finally gradually catching Alexy, who might been injured.

Connection things was good for me (with stabil 137 ping in 8000 km distance to servers and clients) and i've watched some Kunos MP smoothing algoritm work. ( it happens usually when i drive near Fabri or finnish guys cars. ( cars in view looks slightly have an unnatural but smooth moving in longitude axle ( his car speed fluctuation in range 0,5-1 m)
You know what i am doing to prevent disconnects- disable  inet service apps ( dropbox, avirus scanning, skype, adobe processes in task manager)  ;)

I don't mind doing results, just I have no idea where the files live for AC
I do the Sunday results for Stephen in R3E, so is easy enough to do

Woooohooo, I did it... yehhh. umm, ok, calm down, I seem to know where the files live
and I imported the qual and race .json, and it seems to have worked ok, didn't know
the tyres so they will need adding. It didn't know the cars as this was it's first sight of them
so I added them as Boss302 70's Mustangs

L4DE could do with adding his country to his profile so he gets a nice little flag against his name  8)
