Ferrari 1-2-3, big Grats Jonny & Jeep :thumbup2:

Practice:
After F1 from Abu Dhabi & discovered the practice server was up to running, yes why not...training.
Splittered my good old setup in atoms & started to find something really good, especially no problems with tyretemp.
First time for a long time I was really ready for race, with both qual & race setup, my qual setup also gave new PB: 1:45.795

Qual:
Close, but it went ok...Pole. A little surprised Jeep & Axel was not a major threat here, much faster on Hocken.

Race:
Ok start & exciting down to T1. Making a little small mistake & a huge bug on maybe lap 9, coming on the wrong side of the high grass wall down towards T'last. Be afraid if I turned the car to get a DQ to drive the opposite direction & chose to find a hole later...it did not come & now I could see metalfence too. A wild bet to fly over grass & maybe find track again without hitting anything. Unfortunately, it was close in front of Jonny & maybe today's biggest shock to us both, Big Sry ;)

Thank you all for another fun race :thumbup1: but again more that disappeared too fast. ???

Very quiet race for me. Qualified around the time I expected and was surprised to have beaten Cookie into 3rd place.

Most exciting part was the start. I got great grip off the line, pulled level with jonny and was right on the gearbox of Pelle as we hurtled down to T1. But as I was on the wrong side of the track it was only going to end in tears had I tried to keep Jonny at bay so eased off and settled into 3rd. Had Cookie for company for a few laps as the front 2 extended away and then when Cookie disappeared I was running alone with Greg slipping further back as the race went on. Came home 16s behind jonny and about half a minute ahead of Greg's BRM.

TTFN
John.

Came to see if the race was tomorrow, it was yesterday

Need to improve my BRM and Eagle race times, so this was a good chance to race the BRM against Jonny, John, Axel and Greg gone.

There's always next year! See you all then ;)

Congrats Pelle, Jonny, and John!

That was some fun. I'm glad I avoided causing any problems. Clive quickly made me think, "discretion is the better part of valor". I relented before one of us doomed us both. It was a shame I couldn't keep Andreas from getting by too. I guess Clive and Axel collided. After their demise there wasn't much suspense for me. I was curious if I was going to have a chance of getting closer to Clive. Two spins somewhat early in the race did increase the suspense though. I started thinking if I don't get my act together, I'm going to be behind Andreas again.

It was fun trying to tame that heavy beast. It's extremely difficult for me to get in any kind of rhythm with the BRM. I was pleased to keep it in somewhat decent shape. I got close to my best times with it and now I think might be able to some day get it into the low 49s or high 48s.

Thanks for letting me race with you guys. Take care.
