(5) Start procedure
*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

Hi FMG, I have added the Datsun and Glickenhaus. just going to check the server is working ok

Ah a track with proper kurbs!

Will either stick with the Ferrari or try the newer Audi

the server doesn't seem to be working, I have messaged the expert Picnic to see if he can fathom it out

Wrong Glickenhaus! You've put the horrible diesel sounding one on there ;)
Leave it on as I know some people like it - but if you can add the P4/5 on there also I'll be eternally grateful.
Also it'll slow me down a tad Vs the GT3's and SCG003 :)

Doh! High 28's damn

The new audi isnt quite as sublime to drive as the old one. Has an annoying habit of losing the rear under braking and moving the brake bias forward helps but then cant attach the entry as i'd like!

Well wasn't expecting a pole to lights victory for me! Was a last minute decision to join in and fortunately I had a setup for the Porker at Donington already. You have to qualifying on mediums in the Porsche so was really surprised to take pole.

The rolling start did away with the lap 1 incidents (been saying this for years!) and although Mark pressured me the whole race, I was fairly comfortable knowing I could try a bit harder if necessary. With the Porsche you really have to not start sliding too much with the rears though because once they overheat it's curtains and there's no way back!

A nice way to finish the year for me and thanks to SRou and all the organisers for all their work during the year to provide us with some fun times.

Great little last race of the year that.

Could have had pole but caught a green Lambo with two corners of a lap left when I was well up and lost all my advantage   :'(
Think I was only about a tenth behind Simon for pole  :o

I chased his porsche butt the whole race but could tell he had the measure of me and he didn't appear to put a wheel wrong. Nor did I come to think of it! But car nearly caught me out once in Craners and that gave Simon the valuable few tenths breathing space, which he maintained until the end as captain consistency  ;D
It was a proper Porsche v Ferrari fight.

Tried to join, both Fezzas taken so didn't bother.

That was great fun - it was nice to finally get to take the P4/5 for a spin against real company 8)
It was a shame I lost the back at the start of Lap 2, but with only 'on' or 'off' as traction options it's a damn hard car to drive when the tires are warming up :)
I also had a cracking battle with Steven until he finally lost it at old paddock (bad luck!) ;D

Mark - you mentioned not having sounds.
You probably have the old Fonsecker sounds. You need to download the last version of his pack 1 and put the files in that into the P4/5 (And anything else you previously used them for). They're so much better than stock there's no comparison.
