Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read

If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

I thought it might be quite good, if for this series, drivers selected a car and used it for the entire series.

If you wish to blag a skin, post here, stating your desired car #, so everyone knows that the car is yours, so hands off.

Sorry guys, further problem just discovered. Car #'s 40, 58, 6 & 80 have a 5 speed box whilst all the other cars have a 4 speed box.

Please do not choose any of the above as we will not be using them.

No I am right, your car choice 58 is a baddun (5 speed box) so you will need to choose again, sorry (not having a good day)

I did not choose #40, but I can't have it anyway

I did choose #58 because I thought it was yellow, it isn't yellow but does have a 5 speed gearbox ( that I did not know about) I can't have that one either.

I didn't choose #31, but it is yellow and I can have that one because it does not have a 5 speed gearbox.

It is all rather academic because I am crap with these front wheel drive boxes anyway , but #31 is as good as any other chariot so stick my name on it.  ;)

Well between us we got there...............#31 it is then (until I discover a reason why you cannot choose it, that is  :shifty: )

By the way GTL crashes when I try to buy car #9 (even after re-installing the KAD mod and additional skins), so I did not buy it... Could this cause a problem when going on-line?
Also: is there a way to "buy" all cars at once? (saving a bunch of clicks)

You have to  create a TG2001.DYN file and put it in the game folder (if I remember right, you have to create a new player file afterwards to have all cars unlocked):

I already have this file, and all original cars are unlocked, plus I have a huge amount of "money" to buy cars, but it seems this does not work for cars that I added afterwards...
Not such a big deal in the end.

I am more concerned about having not all skins in "My Garage" when going on-line...

You don't need all the skins in 'My Garage', just the one you are going to drive.

So sorry, several post's passed me by. Just to confirm, you only need to buy the car you want to drive. I do not know why you were unable to buy car #9 but it should present a problem when going online. I will check later whether the same thing happens to me when buying the #9 car.
There is not a way I know of, for buying all the cars with one click, but since you do not need to, it's not an issue.

EDIT: I have bought Car #9 and nothing bad happened. It is however the only car that doesn't have a it's own moving image on the garage screen but it is showing up in the showroom.
Further investigation shows that the #9 car requires some missing files. In view of this I will exclude Car #9, in case it's a problem waiting to happen.

Pembrey for me is always like stuck in an endless repetition a la "Groundhog Day". An invisible wall inside T1 and some offs behind the outside wall - fortunately I know the place
where I can come back on track, but that's automatically related with one lap down as outside the wall there is no start/finish line to cross and I have to make the lap twice ::)

But I like the KAD Mini - setup hints were very helpful. Thanks for that, guys!  :thumbup1: :rockon:

Race 2 front left tire in the red had to use the grass verges to cool it down, enjoyed race but was a second or 2 off you fast guys.

Big thanks to Geoff though who probably missed out on a double by providing setup tips for this crazy little bugger.

Race 1 I started with messing up in T1 but after some laps to get my act together, I seemed to be catching people quite quickly and didn't have much trouble overtaking. There was some real fun close combat there though. Halfway I was in pos. 2 but with 10 seconds down on Clive I reckoned that was as far as the party would go. I was getting closer but don't think I would have made it if Clive's car wasn't voodoo'ed off the track. In the replay it looks quite inexplicable. In the mean time, after trying to sneak away at the start, Geoffers had served his sentence and had thundered through the field to claim pos. 2. Usually that'd spell my doom but I was too far ahead and too comfortable in the Mini to allow even an Alien to spoil my party. Victoire!

Race 2 actually went better but after desperately clinging to Geoffers' tail for half the race I had to let him go. Just couldn't keep up. Hashtag Not-an-Alien-After-All.
But I'm rather proud of this:

Great race for me. By the end of the first lap I was somehow in 2nd place. Could not keep up with the Evil one and he continued to pull away from me and I had Bob behind me who appeared to making up ground as the race progressed. Some sloppy corners lost me speed and soon Bob saw his opportunity to pass me followed shortly after by Dom who then battled with Bob ahead of me. next to pass me was a recovering Geoffers (who I think had to serve a stop/go for jumping the start lights). Tried to catch the two guys a head of me but was never able to. Commiserations to Clive for his demise after leading much of the race. Looking forward to these again at Snetterton where we can use more of these cars performance.

Grr, just spent 10 mins typing my report & then it all disappeared. >:(

Never mind, congrats to Dom on race 1 win & some excellent pace in race 2, & congrats to Bob & Clive on their podiums.  :clap: :clap: :clap:

Yes I did jump the start in race 1, for some stupid reason I was away when the countdown reached '1'. ::)

Race 1 disaster with a couple of wide/spin that made me loose a lot of time and always in difficult braking for T1. Then in Q2 thanks to Geoff's hints on brake setting, and no Q for Geoff and Dom, I set pole with a clean fast lap.
At R2 start I couldn't see the start light so to not risk a black flag I waited to hear other cars starting noise, but cause the delay and a massive spin of front wheels I was passed by almost all the field and T1/T2 was a bit chaotic  :o
When the red mist went down I was 4th and could stay behind Clive in view till my LF tire became always red, more than in Race 1, and gradually lost contact with Clive. I had increased pressure on front tires before Race 2 and didn't work much, see the massive spin at start. Maybe was better decrease to get temps lower?
