Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

Will miss these two races as I'm away for a spontaneous one week fasting cure  :P

Body and soul need a hiatus from real life.
Hard times at the moment in all areas of life, but nothing to worry about.  8)

Server advanced to next track with 5 laps to go I think. Geoff was leading by 15 sec. on me and I had a gap on Seniordan of 5 sec.
Don't remember more.
I loved this fantasy track since early beta of rFactor.
Ciao

Very little practice for these races because of decorating duties, but really enjoyed this car/track combination. The only downside was the heavy tyre wear if I pushed hard.
My pole lap was just "one of those" where I survived the whole banzai lap right on the edge of insanity and to get a margin so large, on such a short track, was surreal. But I was very aware of trying to protect my tyres for the race.

Not a good start for me ( but infinitely better than the one on race2!!) and Geoffers got the jump on me, with Dan and his uber launch control firing through from the second row. For the first few laps I was content to ease the car into the race and avoid abusing the rubber. But then I noticed Geoffers was creeping away up ahead and eased up to Dan's tailpipes. He was good enough to run wide and give me the opportunity to sneak past and chase Geoffers. But I could not maintain a challenging pace and expect to still have rubber at the end of the race if I pressed Geoffers, so I backed off a fraction and hoped ( pointless with someone as smooth as Geoffers  ??? :-\ ) that he would make a mistake. Dan threatened to close from behind at times but the occassional excursion by him preserved my safety and I rolled in a comfortable second place.

Grats to Geoffers on the win, maybe if I could have held the lead at the start I might have kept you behind...maybe? and to Dominick for completing the podium. Thanks to all cars that allowed a clean pass when lapping  ;)

Driving the Impala at a competitive speed, for me, was impossible at this track It was like trying to push an elephant around an ice rink. So gave up after numerous offs and as I was likely to impede lappers I retired early and stayed out of the way. Still glad I used up an Impala drive.
Did notice that Dan's car was smoking a bit on the start/finish straight.

I have made half hearted attempts to tame that Impala at previous circuits, but confess that I found it just as you described Tony, a bit like steering a supertanker with a teaspoon.

ATM the Impala represents a choice I would rather not make, but sooner or later I know that I am going to have to drive the beast.
I might need to break with my usual race preparation ( here read zero, other than checking car/track/server combination is working ) and actually do some serious practice offline in the days before the pre qualifying session on actual race night.  But that sounds a little too serious and committed for something which is meant to be fun  :sweatdrop:

No testing for this one, so decided to just use cars I haven't driven before.
Tried the Impala, which I didn't find particularly difficult, just a bit lumbering, so went with the Falcon
was still learning the track at race start, so gradually got a bit faster. Good fun, I like these   ;D
