Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

I have just done my usual pre race check on Circuit/cars/server for Pukekohe. I thought that I recognised the name from a previous race, but nope this is a new one for me, still a very nice track with enough tricky bits to make it interesting.  ;)

I was planning to run all 3 cars just to be sure all was OK for tonight, but the Izusu refuses to load and I get dumped back to the lobby every time I try ( the other 2 cars are fine). I have re-downloaded the Izusu car from the link but still no joy?
The usual question Tony,.....Is it me???  :-\

I have had same issue with, I think, the Mazda. Might still have, I've not run these for a while
I will find out when I get home later.

Does it work offline Clive ?

I had no problems offline with either of the cars yesterday (other than driving them..  ::)), but haven't tried them online.

Thanks Tony.  ;D

All cars now available, although to say that they are "working properly" might be stretching things a little  :-\. Or maybe that is something to do with the guy behind the wheel?? :-[

In GTL I seem fated to finally get to grips with a car set just as the series comes to an end  :-\

I posted about the small issue with the Izusu on the server and that was the only pre race practice that I had done, probably about 10 laps max in each of the 3 cars. My intention was more about learning the track ( which I thought that we had run before, but I was wrong about that ) than maximising the cars.
After the trial 10 laps, each of the cars was returning something around the low 1:10's so I figured that at least I was consistant if not all that quick. I anticipated the usual suspects to be lapping in the 1:09's, possibly 1:08's?, but with a few tweaks to the setups I did feel more comfortable in all cars than I had in previous races.

I was surprised to be so competitive ( although Geoffers might have brought some reality to the situation ) and despite a few mistakes in each race I was mostly in contention.
Race 1 was odd as I find the Mazda a little tricky to harness, but I appeared to have a 0.5sec advantage on the straight which allowed me to gain a buffer on each lap until I could relax a little.
Race 2 with the Bellet was going to be the toughest as I had expected, and maybe if I had not hit the kerb hard at the Esses and rolled the car I might even have finished nearer the front. As it happens I threw a 3rd place in the Bellet anyaway within sight of the flag, when I hooked a wheel onto the kerb and went rallycrossing allowing Tony to reclaim that place after I had risked everything to catch and pass him.  :-\
Race 3 and my favourite of the 3 cars, the Toyota. I'm sorry guys, but I had a huge grin on my face after the hairpin on lap 1. I pulled off an Alonso style move around the outside and picked off 2 places  ;D ;D After that I hunted down Matt and took the chance when it presented itself and eased away.
I am rather curious as to why so many cars went into the pits in the final race???? For many laps I was actually wondering if we were all supposed to make a pitstop  ??? ??? But all was OK with my car so I plugged on and was left with a comfortable win.

The first two races were real corkers with much action involved and not inconsiderable paint swopping particularly with Rog. Hope it wasn't too aggresive?

Third race was not so good as I caused an accident at the hairpin so did a voluntary drive thru as pennance which left me at the back of the field.

Only three more races left and the top of the Championship is looking very close  8)

 8)

Really like this little track, but

Race 1 was very disappointing in last place from first to last inch although for the first time ever I had no problems with the handling of the Mazda simply by making the setup as hard as possible.

Race 2 was a bit more fun with Dan struggling with his Mazda's setup.

Race 3 was a more and more comfortable ride with the Bellet and due to some huzzle in front of me I suddenly ended up in sixth position.
Eventually Dan caught me right on the finish line by some hundreds of a second. Nice one.

Overall I was still missing some tenths of a second in each car/race but did improve.

Hope to race here again.

Quite a mixed bag, last night's race.

Race 1 was one long battle with Clive, Matt & Dan.  First Clive and then Dan got ahead of me early on.  Later got past Matt when he had a moment at the end of the back straight.  Little later Dan got a bit out of shape at the start of the back straight; I tried a pass and we collided.  He most graciously waved me through.  Not sure it was called for, but he seemed to insist  :)  Couldn't do anything about Clive, so 2nd it was.  Grats to Clive & Dan.

Race 2 completely different.  Don't like the Mazda and am not comfortable driving it.  My one hotlap in qual felt forced and slow, so very surprised it landed me pole.  Only just held off Matt through the first corners, and then had him in close pursuit the next laps, till I caught a glimpse of him veering violently into the barriers.  Clive picked up the pursuit role for a lap, and then I glimpsed him rolling into the barrier at the start of the back straight.  Rest of the race was uneventful, and I was truly surprised at bagging a win in the Mazda.  Grats to Matt & Tony for filling the podium.

Race 3 and not so competitive in the Isuzu.  Was behind Matt when a bump from Tony sent me into his back, spinning him round.  I waited, as I thought someone ought to wait!  Didn't know at the time that Tony imposed a drive through on himself, so wasted a lot of time, losing a place to Fulvio in the process.  Chased after Matt & Fulvio and we soon had a 3-way battle.  Got past Fulvio with a move up the inside at the end of the back straight. In the moment, I neither saw nor felt any contact, but replay suggests we may have exchanged paint.  Apologies Fulvio; I gained a lot of ground on you guys under braking in this spot. Balancing between exploiting it and overdoing it was tricky, and I may have gone too far here.  Rest of the race was a good scrap with Matt, where we exchanged places a few times.  Regrettably he was ahead when we crossed the line for the final time  8)  Grats to Clive & Matt.

No problem Erling, I was prepared to your pass, anyway I rolled it soon after at the chicane and lost a lot of time by myself  ::)
I wasn't prepared to the race cause my GTL install didn't want to run at the right resolution after a Win10 update to 1903  >:(
Lost all practie time to solve it without luck, but in the end I found that the Steam one worked but I hadn't cars, tracks and setups, so I raced the first race on the Isuzu with default setup and learning track out of pace. The following races I got setup from previos races and went better, but stupid errors slowed me down.
After the race I found out that the GTL Config update a config.sys in user data and not that one in GTL folder that is used by GTL.exe  >:(
Moved it in the right folder and it worked...
Too bad I lost a race and this one went bad, I was in good standing before  :'(
