Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

These cars are missing from the new server list, so I can't set up the server at the moment
I have raised a ticket with RaceRoom.

If no one is going to come to this event, I can postpone it easy enough, I don't mind, I am already
doing Tony's Christmas special.

As I wrote on Leguna Seca, I am doubtful about having sufficient practice time so put me in the “not coming box”. Thanks for this post, it will give me time to carry out updates before first race of 2019!  ;D

If the race is on I will almost certainly be there, but if there are only going to be 2 or 3 of us it is probably better to postpone it.

Might be able to make it, but not 100% certain. Also don't mind if it's postponed though.

I have reported the missing car from the server car list, and it has been acknowledged by devs
But nothing has happened yet, and I doubt they will do anything over the Christmas Hols
so we can't set up the server for the 1995 Merc. So I have set the server up with an event for a Gr4 Porka fun race instead

I will postpone this 95Merc event and put it as the last event for this series.
It is unlikely I can make the race, but it's possible.

If people want a different car rather than the Gr4 Pork just shout, and I will make it so cap'n

For me every car is fine. I tried only 3 or 4 models on RRE and I bought the Premium Pack only yesterday. So I have a lot of cars to try ;)

This will be the final event of these 3 series. I would like to wait a few weeks to see if the new Porka is released
so I can test it. I will run a few "fun" races (aren't they all...) any suggestions? Be nice to try out a few options
that may become future series.

Yes Alessandro. We don't have such big grids that you need to book a place, just turn up to any event you want.

I think the server is currently set to a max grid of 18, but we have run 25 once on our server with no issues
so could go higher if we need to.

Hmm, a lot of things went wrong there within those 2 laps.. Sorry Mark, I got confused and braked at the wrong marker board, my fault entirely. I'm sorry it ended your race.

First time in an age that everything started up cleanly and onto grid with no delay or problems.  With about 7 Seconds remaining I got dumped back to home screen and by time I got back to the track I had hit a wall and wrecked the car!  :cursing: :censored:

@Bill get rid of all that time wasting anti virus stuff that is clogging up your machine!
Get rid of all of it, then, if you must, install one package, and make sure it can't do auto updates
or auto scans. Just my opinion...

Thanks for your opinion I use Norton AV, will check out the auto setup!  ;D

Auto Scan was already turned off but not auto update so that is turned off for a 5 hour period after the PC is fired up.  Hopefully that will have solved problem.  ;)

Could be Bill. I personally run no AV software other than windows defender.
on my Win7 machines. I spend quite a lot of time with Fedora/Mint/Suse
I only really use MS for games.

I have had such trouble with AV products over many (many) years, that for what
I do, they typically do more damage than good. Just my opinion, not advice.

Bill, open Norton, go to settings & put it in silent mode, you can choose for how long. Never have any problem with it when racing (famous last words!).

Very happy with my pace last night, not often I can keep up with Gavino  :o. Didn't last long though, mistake at T1 followed a couple of laps later by another at T10 which killed the car.
