managed a few laps praccy tonight with the default setup. I have a bit of spare time this weekend to practice due to being at deaths door with man flu and was going to try and do some setup changes. Has anyone got any tips on setup for these wallowing barges?

I took the liberty of starting the server for prac. Not sure I have used the right car?
I used the 911 cup car, but it doesn't say anything about GT3 or 2017. You best check.  ???

The car is correct, but race should be 40 minutes and rolling start.

thanks PHSPOK,

Its raceday!

Sachsenring is one of my favourite tracks, lots of sets of flowing corners.

I am off to Silverstone now to watch the real life  Blancpain GT3's, see you on track tonight

Thanks Frex.

Race set to 40 mins. And server set with race password.
I will restart server at 20:00.

Don't know how to force rolling start for the race. It's an option for qual, but maybe that does it for
race as well? Anyway, it is a rolling start, so whoever polls should know what to do  ::)

Thanks for doing that PHSPOK. There is no setting for rolling starts.

Sorry about racing off at the start, was panicking because I hadn't set my fuel  ::) Never liked Sachsenring because I always seem to go flying off somewhere but to do it on the first flying lap was a bit silly  :wetfish:

With about 10 minutes to go I got the low fuel warning so pitted only to find that I couldn't change my pitstop setting from tyres only so had no choice but to retire.

Well done to pody and finishers  :thumbup1:

Did anyone else notice a lot of wear on tyres and a gradual loss of force feedback strength? I could hardly feel any ffb by the time I pitted.

That was fun. I have a new wheel, which is too big for this table, kept coming loose. I stopped twice to push it back on
but it still worked loose, so I was practicing pushing it back on going down the big hill, and over the start, I was late
getting back in control more than once at the bottom of the hill and flew off, Still, had some fun dicing with Stephen  ;D

good race! times were close in qual so knew it was going to be a close race. Sorry to see goldtop spin on the first lap i think that could have been a good 3 way battle. Had a really good fight with Frex who kept me honest most of the race and seemed to have the pace on me at certain points. The tires did good off and made it even more difficult to handle as i see Frez spin on the last corner during the last few laps on the race. great racing with you!

Can't comment on the ffb, but yeah the tyre wear was big here, especially the right front for me, and the right rear wasn't far behind. Made it tricky in the last few laps. Shame you went off like that - looked like you might have saved it, then it suddenly snapped the other way. I had a great view.! As John says would have been a nice 3 way fight, but even so had another good battle again, just the two of us. Until I lost it near the end  ::)  Great fun though. Congrats John and Matt for P3.
