Welcome to the 6th round of the combined 69 extra championship wich takes us to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Designed in 1920 the original triangle-shaped course used public roads between the Belgian towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy, and Stavelot. The track was intended to have hosted its inaugural race in August 1921, however the first car race was held at the circuit in 1922. Spa was the fastest road circuit in Europe at the time, and it had a nasty reputation for being dangerous and very fast- it was a circuit known to be one for the brave, and most drivers were frightened of it. The old Spa circuit was unique in that speeds were consistently high with hardly any let-up at all for 3–4 minutes. This made it an extraordinarily difficult mental challenge (& ridiculously easy to crash). For the first season we use the new 69x token system for your car choice, so please read the rules and car ranking on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=666&theme=6) We race in intermediate mode. - Pro driver have no shift+r available - Intermediates and Amateurs have a single shift+r with a stop and go in the pits available! Only reported incidents will be moderated, there is no Red Zone.

I crashed in Eau Rouge with 4 laps to go. Until that I had a great battle with Andreas (to much wings? I had 5 on the back) again. Very interessant car that M9A, enormous speed. Shame that there were tech probs. My fps somethimes were 45 or less! The replay link dosen't work? Sorry the regular place is unavailable atm. Yes, the M9a is the fastest car on a straight. But I had much less wings - 2/1 f/r. I was surprised how fast Tris was, as his car looked like a MS84... Maybe the best Mod on one of the best tracks. ;)
Had 4 on the back, but the Lotus was not fast enough compare to the McLaren. Everytime I came out of the Windschatten I was to slow for an overtaking. :no: Before the Race I was thinking to take a McLaren, too. Maybe next time. :) All in all it was a great battle :fencing: all way down.
