(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Start procedure *It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably *There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking *Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front *Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h) *Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h) *The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2) *Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line) *No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap (6) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this. I managed to mess up on the first lap again with another silly spin ::) which gave me a lot to do. Had a brief fight with Matt who then spun and retired unfortunately, but Geoffers was further ahead and just too quick. Well done Geoff! I am losing interest in these races, not because I am losing interest in racing or R3E
but because alothough I sometimes am not far off the pace, if I fall off it is unlikely that I will catch up. Sure, sometimes people will also fall off so I might get a battle but usually that doesn't last long either. I need more humans please ::) Title: Re: RRE Season 6 (2019) Race Room Porsche 964 - Sachsenring - Jul 4 Post by: BillThomas on July 05, 2019, 01:21:35 PM +0100 Definitely! ;D

Perhaps Matt, before committing to the next 3 series you should have a poll about which cars people would like to drive, no good running races for cars people don't like.
Happy with the win last night but after Matt made an early mistake I was on my own. I pressed on because I was sure Frex would be faster & catch me, or I would throw it off the road as I had done many times practicing. In the end although Frex was faster he didn't catch me as quick as I expected & I somehow managed mostly to keep the Porka on the track. :o Also well done to Bill for sticking with it & getting to the finish. Title: Re: RRE Season 6 (2019) Race Room Porsche 964 - Sachsenring - Jul 4 Post by: phspok on July 05, 2019, 09:22:49 PM +0100 I have never done a poll as such, but I do ask repeatedly for suggestions, so, yes, perhaps some polls
Hopefully enough people will vote to make it worthwhile Title: Re: RRE Season 6 (2019) Race Room Porsche 964 - Sachsenring - Jul 4 Post by: BillThomas on July 06, 2019, 05:22:48 AM +0100 Yes we definitely need more drivers in RRE.
