Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Start procedure
*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap
(6) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

There is only one, the different "versions" are just where the start line is.
I will be doing the modern one (which starts before La Source) "Grand Prix"

Thanks, I did try a couple of laps on the historic version. I don’t like these cars, can’t deal with the under steer.  ::)

Phew  ::) 27.5 degrees C (still climbing) in our hallway and much hotter in my computer room so I’ve decided to give tonight’s race a miss.  :surrender: :wheelchair:

That had the air of a bit of end of term fun.. Low turnout again though unfortunately - I guess the heat didn't help and these also seem not very popular, although I really enjoy them. Congrats Geoff and thanks for the fun!

Was awesome heat, and I don't like these, managed to be in the lead with the kindness of others  ::)
But was struggling to keep the thing from spinning, the understeer is not a problem for me
my fast in slow out is not a good thing particularly with these. Had a couple of offs and we waited for each other
but I nosed into a wall, and gave up. Hope you guys had some fun, but I wasn't really on the same pace.#

Top marks for Frex with the series win  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
 Geoffers for 2nd   :thumbup2: :thumbup2: :thumbup2:
And oh, me in 3rd  :thumbup1:

With Frex only needing to turn up to win the championship this was more of a fun race. Shame Matt gave it best early on but Frex & I had some fun laps & I improved my best laptime by nearly 2s. Frex should have won but ran well off track on the final lap gifting me an undeserved victory. I find these cars dead easy to drive until you start to push hard & then they can really punish you & with few setup options it is difficult to make them less tricky.

Congrats to Frex on taking the championship.
