Season 35 - Sports Cars Extra

The Sports Cars Extra mod is new for UKGPL this season.

This season, races are to be run again at 60 frames per second – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=4584#entry33919)

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score points.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: SCx only
Date: Every second Sunday from 7th July 2019
Time: No later than 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Int - with 1x shift+R with a stop+go in the pits allowed for Amateur driver.
Server: UKGPL_8
Race List: IGOR
Division Moderator: Cookie

Handicapping
At the start of the season, each driver will be asked to nominate two cars (from specific groups) which they must use for the rest of the season. The races will be run under Intermediate rules but "Professional" drivers will not be allowed any resets. Drivers who are classed as "Amateurs" will be allowed a maximum of one reset with a compulsory Stop & Go within two laps.

There is no red zone for this championship. Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents do carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

I may not enter any races this season. I have a lot of things I need to do. I would like to race all this season. It would be a great opportunity to learn to drive this mod well. Even if I could race this SCX season, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it fully in my condition. Hopefully, I'll be able to run full seasons again some day.

9 of the 10 races of this series are at the same date and same hour than GPL Brasil races ...
Only Montlhery is on a specific date.

As mod67 is my favourite mod, I will not register to this serie (except may be for Montlhery on 29/09)   :(
