Doh,  just realised this round clashes with the Mexican GP being on,  so I'm going to skip this one.

In theory I could,  but I like to watch the GP with my dad, and evening GP means we have pizza and watch the race.  I'm not changing that tradition for an AC race, sorry  :)

Same here, I'm in Canada so Mexico and US GPs are just a few of the races in the season where I don't have to cut on sleep to watch.

I'm game for after or before our usual time. Can we shift the race a little earlier? Two hours sooner and we can still watch the GP.

Mexico I need to watch because the wife is Mexican so that's a must.

I could prolly make it if the race started a little later,  but don't go changing it because of that as it might mess it up for others...

There are races scheduled up until 15/12/19 which means we would have to postpone the race until 22/12/19, which being so close to Christmas would mean there would probably be a low turnout as well so I am going to leave the schedule as it is.

Well my two cents:

I don't mind doing races back to back, if it were up to me I'd be doing a race weekly :)

Also not against a crazy idea like maybe running it on a Saturday.

Anyway, if it doesn't work out with a re-schedule have a great race guys.

Nice to see some enthusiasm from our racers! with this in mind I would like to propose switching this weeks Road America race to Sunday 22/12/19......

Do any of the regular Sunday night racers have any strong objections to this?

In.

So what's next season? Group C?!??

We will be having some fun races during January, then I was going to do a short 4 or 5 round V8 supercar series as there seems to be a bit of renewed interest recently when FMG asked for a Race at Bathurst. Still deciding what to do after that, was thinking about the TCR's using the BTCC tracks. I will put some options out early next year

I'm afraid i have to miss this last round,  :( i'm on airport duty picking up the Italian in-laws for Christmas. Shame as the Vette would have been flying at Road America.

re: new series, there are some cool looking Japanese Super GT cars available. Could make a nice mini-series using Suzuka, Fuji, Okoyoma? with Bathurst and maybe Philip Island thrown in. (take a look over on F1classic website).

Japanese Super GT sounds good, I will have to take a look. I enjoyed it when we used these cars in GTR2 a few years back

Was another enjoyable race. Really love the GT2 cars and the element of pit stops is good.

I will miss this series. Thanks to everyone involved in organising the racing and to all the drivers who took part for making it a good series.

Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!

I enjoyed that  ;D  Did ok in qual, and was not last on the grid.... some  :alien: :alien: :alien: were missing, so not that impressive
was doing ok in the race. Followed Simon and Alex for a while as they slowed each other battling. Eventually they pulled away
and I managed to slowly pull away from Christian, then the dreaded pitstops, which is always my downfall.... ::)

Had not had much practice, so was unsure on tyre wear, so opted to change them, started with plenty of fuel so
added non, was surprised to come out 40 secs further back than I thought I should have been  ???
Watched Christian's pitstop which was all of 2 secs, where mine was a minute + ooops, should have put up with
tyre wear.... :-[

Managed to catch Christian near the end, and outdragged him up the hill to the flag to recapture 4th place.

Dam good race, Many thanks to Stephen for the events.  :thumbup1:

Good race, good series, it reconciles me with the moderns ...  :) I was hoping for an unexpected 4th place, blown on the line ...  >:( but 5th for me is already good!  I would have had to drive 1 sec faster ... :-\

Enjoyed that one, a bit gutted that I lost my decent grid position due to the server going tits up. But on a good note I think everyone managed to log back on after I reset the server. I managed a couple of overtakes then spent the second half of the race inching closer to Bob hoping that he would crack under the pressure but it didn't happen!

Thanks to all that turned up for this series, it has been the best supported Sunday night series for a long time! I will definitely be doing another series sometime next year using these cars/format.

Time for a few fun races during January, then a V8 Supercar mini series

Well that was fun...

Given my issues all day with the system I was not sure if it was a server crash or issues on my side. By mistake I hit the sleep button on my keyboard and I don't know what that did to my system, anyway I got it running and re-joined.

Started the race with a mistake early on, but then regained it after a few laps and was up and down trying different angles and braking too late in too many places.

Thanks all and can't wait for the next season (races).

Thank you SRW for the very nice GT2 series, I really enjoyed it!

Last race had some issue in the qualy so started in the bottom of the pack, but with porsche power I could reach 3 position since getting very close to Simon 2nd, but a mistake in T5 jeopardized the possibility to raise up to P2.

Congrats Alex and Simon for the race, and Max for being the No.1 in the series!

See you next one in 2020!
