Might not be able to make this one - my router/modem's bust and I'm waiting for a new one to be delivered, if it's here today then I'll be racing, failing that well - I won't :(.

Yes, the rules clearly state this. See https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7#startProc

I've now included and emphasized that in the announcement like I have for the UKGTL announcements.

Thanks for the reminder on the start procedure, I'm a bit concerned I'll forget whilst it's still new :-\

I'm hoping for a better performance tonight, I've been pretty terrible this season so far :D

I know waht you mean Pops, I haven't scored a single point yet this season so I'll be there to try and score one or two!

I've parked the Mosler and I'll be taking out the Porsche which is far more enjoyable. I dont know how Shark drags the Mosler home for each race - fair play m8 but I cant go that slowly  :P
Joking of course but something I dont have is an ultra smooth driving style, and that's what I think is need for the Mosler over a race distance.

Looking forward to racing the Porsche again - see you all later.

Apparently my new router turned up this morning, so all being well I'll see you guys out on the track - probably going to take the Morgan again seeing as that's what I've been driving so far in this series.

ROTF..... I would not put that past you !!!   You do still hold the record for the 'Blow your Escort up here' server we ran one night in GTL with autoclutch off and you managed to blow it up before you made it past the S/F line........... Now that was impressive !!!   ;D

Arse - got my connection back and connected just before warmup, no sound when in the car - then CTD and couldn't rejoin.

Hope you guys have a good race.

Catalog of errors for me, ended up beached on the kerb and quit out as a safe rejoin seemed unlikely  :-\

Amazing pace by everyone again  :)

Woohoo, i survived  :taz:.

Rich, Mo and I had a "train" in the first half of the race, not that close, but fun enough to watch. After Mo went off, I did everything to keep my car alive. For half of the race O was lifting off with upshifts, very late with downshifts and just let the brakes do the work and letting go off the throttle at the end of the straight just to prevent reaching maximum revs. Man was I driving like a granny like that ;D

Happy with 3rd, I expected to be further down because I can't find my way around this track. I tend to attack the banked corners too fast, but this time I was braking very early and trying to do it smoothly.

Great, great race for me, qualified in 8th and finished 6th.

Awesome pace in qually and the race  8)

Hats off to Greg for a great drive who frustrated me for the last 20 mins or so, I was willing you to make a mistake :P

Any race where I can still see Mo at the end of the race must be considered a great success  ;D :thumbup2:

Awfull.......
Rich A was taking it wasy into turn 2. I locked up my cold brakes and went off.
Re-joined in 18th place.
Sorry Flyboy.... My fault. Saw you were going slow into the corner. Went for insode line. Carrying a little to much speed. On the apex speed was scrubbed off. But because of marbles you couldn't go high. Then we touched sorry again.
After that everything going well till power came out of the back of my wheel.

Good fun and hard work at the same time.
Just had enough to keep Pops behind me, good drive mate  :P, lol.
Bad luck to mark who must have had an off and rejoined behind me, giving me back 5th place.

First of all - let me say, that it is amazing what progress some of the guys made during my prolonged absence since beginning of Season 2. Last time I drove with you it was a piece of cake to qualify within top 5. Now - I was really glad with my 12th. This will give me some motivation to practice now I have a reasonable Internet connection again!

About the race:

Qualified 12th, finished 12th - nothing interesting here, move along...

At T1 i locked my brakes (like a real newbie should! :D),  let everybody drive past me, and rest of the race was just a steady drive back to my qualifying position. I do not yet feel comfortable with the car and sim. Considering this, I was glad with my persistent and quite clean driving. Of course there were some wheel lockups but nothing really dangerous.

Some great fight with Jamera, Picnic and some other guys (well... I do not remember your nicks yet!). There were two contact situations, first of them was probably 50% my fault - sorry for that.

Anyway - it was a great race for me. Interesting from start to finish. Just can't wait for next Tuesday!

Thanks Picnic.

Wow what a great race, amazing times in qual and lots of close racing on track 8)
I qualled in 4th and finished in 4th and had a great race with Ruskus and Rich for the podium spots.
Rich's pace was amazing - constant 1'31 laps for the first half of the race. I could just about keep up, setting PBs as I went and trying to keep the tyres cool at the same time!
Eventually Ruskus fell back a bit and I was wondering whether Rich's tyres or mine would go first, as that was my only hope of getting past.
In fact just as I was thinking about it a 360 rejoined in front of me  :o and going off line I went off in the banked left hander and got beeched in the sand. I cooked the tyres getting out and from then on it was tyre warnings from the pits and driving like a granny like Ruskus ;)
Think I rejoined in 6th, managed to get a spot back from Greg on the main straight using the extra grunt in the Porsche. Then bad luck for Mark as he had the dreaded gt3 low speed wobble in the final turn and lost a bunch of places promoting me to 4th, where I had started.
Managed to score my first points for the team this season too so all in all a good result.

Good to see Pedro back too - look forward to racing you again 8)

Good race, nearly taken out in T2 lap by [RSms]Andy ..  :P Shame, Emmo went flyin off one of cambered turns. Was a could have been I think but Claus's pace was first class. Tried some asymmetrical setting up of car i.e stronger front inside spring to make it hotter. Not sure if it works, FL was about 68 - 78 .. but makes balance crazy and tricky to re-balance it with the dampers !!

My favourite race in the series so far!

Have to admit - I had a great time out there!
Was swapping positions with Whitham and Rob for a lot of the race until I went off one too many times and Rob drove off into the distance.
My apologies to Don for locking up in trying to slow to let him lap me and after the race for shaving his paintwork when I spun at high speed on the main straight and flew off out of control onto the other part of the track! Watched the replay and saw there was a second there when you might have thought about ramming

Amazing pace up front all, it'll be a while before I can maych that but sure maybe when GTR2 comes out we can start on a level playing field!  :-\

Great race and i dont even like Anderstorp

Had good qually battle, setting numerous PB's only to keep moving down the grid and qualied 9th behind Pops, who managed to pip me each time i went faster ::)

Race started strong with Greg and Pops just in front of me and Flybri right behind. Gradually dropped Fly as i stayed glued to Pops rear bumper for about 15 minutes until he made a slight error and got two wheels on the grass verge. I then steamed after Greg reeling him in after about another 10 mins of hard racing, whilst Pops fought off Flybri.
Once past Greg, i pulled out a 6 second lead and saw Mo's car off the banked curve, finding myself in 4th place with a 7 second lead over Mo and only about 6-7 mins remaining.
But then got caught up with some backmarkers and most pulled nicely out the way, so thanks for that chaps, but two guys had dramas of their own in front of me and i had to back off or take avoiding action in a couple of instances allowing Mo to close up to a 2-sec gap and my already worn tyres to give up the ghost :'(
On the next lap around, i braked into the last corner as i had done all race but the car just sledged into the gravel trap :(.
As i rejoined ponderously, Mo, Greg and Pops did a formation split as they all screamed past relegating me from 4th to 7th place :'(
I tried to recatch them but my tyres were gone and all i could do was drive defensively as a fast approaching Emmo Plate caught me on the last lap. We had a photo finish as he almost got me on the line. :P

Great clean racing from start to finish, really enjoyed it.  8) Just wish i had got the points my pace deserved  :(

Was that you :D I wondered what the hell was going on with a car comming round the track at full speed the wrong way :o My race hadn't finished at that point! But no probs, I had, had a mare of a race anyways,

Crap! Didn't realise your race wasn't over Don!  :o Being last usually affords me a little dramatic spin after crossing the line but I'll "Kerb" that in future.
Last thing I want is to ruin someones last lap.

Cheers for letting me know though.  :-[ :-[
