Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Nice easy drive here. Geoffers suggested this ( I think) and I think Bill did once, so have a go chaps

Seems rather underpowered for Spa.... might change it to Portimao, or maybe Brands Indy?

Thanks Matt there was a 325 which if I remember correctly  ??? was top of the E30 model range for a short period. Have now bought the 235i.  ;D

Any shortish track would be ideal I reckon.  ;D

Just had a few laps around here, indeed is good fun in these cars, they handle the kerbs quite well.

We've used the R3E Bridge layout before, and it works well.

Server set with usual race password. Once again I am doing penance in London
so someone needs to connect at 19:45 UK time to start the clock

These are good fun   :)

A bit underpowered, limited setup options and easy to drive, but not so easy to find those last few tenths. Obviously not rear-engined, but nevertheless kinda reminds me of a more modern NSU and I think the racing in them is going to be just as close. Could be a worthy alternative to an NSU series in future.

4.5Gb update today, lots of content and feature additions. Setup screen looks very different now, not sure if setups will need to be re-done from scratch.

Yeh, no keys mapped for pitstop, so went in & of course could not carry out stop so just sat there! Could have been a good race too. Oh well! Congrats on the win.

Sorry, that was my fault, I missed that it was set to mandatory pitstop, and had gone to rolling start for qual  :hang:

That was a bit of a shame, but on the plus side at least I got to test the new damage model - one trip over the raised kerbs around the chicane and my suspension was wrecked..! Took me awhile to figure out how to request the damage repair, and then for the repairs to be done, but I made it back out on track eventually.

The first few laps did show however how good and close the racing could be with these - would gladly do them again. Congrats all.
