Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Just trying to download the track and each time I get redirected to another web page. Either Mediafire, which advises me that the key I am using to access the file is invalid and then asks me to open a new account, or another asking me to install Facebook Messenger?, as I don't do Twitbook or Facergram, I have no need of any of that.

Is the link above correct?

UPDATE
I tried the link for the RACE 1 post and that worked first time  :-\ maybe something awry with the link on the 2nd Race post?

Yeah, I usually only update the 1st race post as I assume most people would read that first  ::)

Grats to the podiums for both races.

Now I remember why I usually qualify on race fuel  ::)

After the heady success of Race 1 and the outside possibility of an even better result in race two, I decided that I wanted to start on pole. So,  I emptied the tanks and went for a banzai lap netting a very satisfying 1:34.5. That part of the plan went well and I was in pole position and the next part was to get a good start and run for the hills, hoping that Geoffers and Erling would be detained by the rest of the field.

The start.
This is when things started to unravel. I was concerned about Dan and his lightening starts, so I wanted to get this front wheel drive machine moving as quickly as possible.......apparently a little too quickly  :-\ and I got a stop'n go for jumping the start  :(.
That was bad enough and had just about screwed my race by putting me 30 secs behind the field. But, I thought I would see how far my new found control of front wheel drive cars would get me.
For 2 laps I was closing the gap to the tail of the field, then I caught a recovering Matt and got past. I shifted my focus to the next car ahead and pressed on. Until, exiting that final hairpin and nailing the gas up the hill....did the engine miss a beat there?? a second or two later as I approached the S/F line it definitely coughed again??? aaaarrggghh!! I remembered the qually fuel change just as I crested the hill and glanced at the HUD.   :cursing: :cursing:
Another pitstop was never going to work so I ran the car off track and out of Matt's way and banged my head on the steering wheel.

Pleased, to at last have found some pace in a front wheel drive car and the how to get them around corners without terminal understeer. All I need to do now is put fuel in the tank  :-\ :-\

Race 1 was a fairly uneventful one, apart from a whack from Dan at the beginning of L2 which sent me reeling, only holding it together by the skin of my teeth; more about this in race 2.

Geoffers was slipping away, while Tony kept me company over the early laps, before falling back and making it a lonely race.

Grats to Geoffers on the win & Clive for completing the podium.

Before going online, I was certain I would not get hit by the qual-ban in race 2, but the collective absence of all the über-aliens temporarily restored the old pecking order.  Thus at the back with Geoffers. Was convinced he would get a jump start penalty, as his car twitched before the flag dropped, but apparently it wasn't enough to trigger one.  Slow off the line myself, but to my surprise I still gained 4 places by T1.  Next got entangled in the first of Tony's & Fulvio's coming togethers.  Tried to steer around, but a second knock from Tony sent Fulvio's car into my path and I had nowhere to go, losing a couple of places.

The speed with which Geoffers closed on me in T1 made me realize I was taking it too slowly.  It could be done in 5th, while I had until then downshifted into 4th. May have caught out Dan in race1, partially explaining why he hit me. Regained places when others had moments, while Geoffers got past down the S/F straight.  We both got past Tony & Fulvio, when they had another 'round'.  When we caught up to Dan, a furious 3-way battle for the lead ensued - or 2½ way really, as I wasn't quite there.  Geoffers took the lead, leaving me to battle with Dan. Tony had a moment when we were about to put a lap on him, distracting Dan enough for me to slip past and ultimately run away with 2nd again.

Grats to Geoffers on the 2nd win & Dan for 3rd.  Commiserations to Clive for having a promising race go completely belly up!

Yes Erling I did go before the lights changed, but I was lucky as the car had rolled back a little while waiting for the start & I managed to get the clutch back in before I had moved too far & got away with it.

First race I managed to get away early & was able to nurse the tyres for most of the race, but race 2 was a bit different & I used too much tyre trying to get to the front & was a bit lucky that I got away with two big slides at T2 on both of the last two laps even though I was trying to be careful. Phew.

Congrats to Erling, Clive & Dan on the podiums.
