Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

It's a shame this championship is now over.

I love to race when there are great stipulations in the rules.

At Race 1 we had big crash. I think i have been part of it because i bumped just a little bit Geoff and he wen into someone else. So we had to wait and actually i lost the race there.

Race 2 was fun as i made 2 mistakes and went off the road twice. I had great pace and was able to make 1:11.1 which made me the second fastest driver of the evening after Geoffers. I had great battles and chases. One of them was when we were 3 wide with Coyote and Daz i think at the straight.

Race 3 was a masterpiece. Daz and Geoff collided just ahead of me and i was so lucky to avoid them. It was me against Matt who made amazing start for the lead. We were battling for at least 10 laps wheel to wheel. But he was so calm, consistent and he didn't made even a small mistake. At the end Daz catch us and started battling with as. Soon he was in P1, Matt finishes in P2 and it was another P3 for me.

Congrats to Coyote, Geoffers and Daz for the wins and Daz, Clive, Ziu and Matt for their podium finishes.

Dimitar not was Geoffers who did fastest of the evening, if you go to see Race 2 you could notice that is an other driver who did 0,008 better than Geoffers.

Not one of my finest GTL performances.  ::)

Race 1 effectively only lasted until the first chicane when I bumped Ziu into a spin. Did not realise at the time that DD gave me a hand. Later, following Tony closely out of the first chicane, he suddenly span out, didn't think I was close enough to cause it but waited anyway. Eventually came in 6th.

Race 2, messed up my qually lap so started near the back, but it turned out to be my best race, working my way up to an eventual 2nd place although a long way behind Ziu.

Race 3, comfortably took pole & was hopeful of winning this time, but like race 1 the first chicane was my downfall. Matt had made a cracking start to lead & Daz & I were arguing over 2nd. Exiting the chicane my car continued turning left & Daz & I went off. Although I continued & nearly caught the field, a couple of more spins ensued & I called it a day. :(

Congrats to the race winners.

Finally congrats to Erling on winning the championship.  :notworthy:

Went into this last round with a healthy lead over Geoffers.  Main goal then to avoid him scoring more than 15 points more than me, to secure the Championship.  What I hadn't realised at the time, was that the scoring system would rob me of 18 points, and him of none  :o  In reality, I was behind him and the evenings results were a lot more critical than I thought.  At least it meant that I didn't win just because he missed the first round, as that was in effect nullified.

Race 1 I got a good start, outdragging Dimitar and taking the lead.  My luck that 3 of the fastest drivers took each other out on L1.  Slowly stretched the gap to Clive, but he was soon replaced by Daz, making the gap go the wrong way. Took a lot of concentration to keep hammering out fast (for me) laps, to keep his gains as low as possible.  Held to the finish fortunately.

Race 2 a mad scrap with other drivers from start to finish.  Got past Fulvio & Clive early on, continuing a close battle with Geoffers.  Let him past by running wide in the final corner, along with Clive, who proceeded to throw himself off at T1 the following lap.  Dimitar caught up and got past at some point, and most of the 2nd half was a duel with Daz. Only the straight line speed of the Mazda kept me in the game, but thankfully held to the finish.

Race 3 bad start, losing a couple of places, but regaining them again when Geoffers & Daz went off. Stayed close to Matt & Dimi, but couldn't do anything about Daz when he caught up and got to exact some Mazda revenge. Most of the race a close battle with Ziu, who made his way through on the penultimate lap, only to throw it away again at T1 of the final lap.

Grats to winners & podiums, and to Geoffers for 2nd and Daz for 3rd in the Championship

Amazing championship indeed. The rule to drive different car in every race made it so much unpredictable. And to have 3 chances for racing is always nice if something goes wrong in Race 1.

No Tony, no avatar for Zui here....

Hectic night on Wednesday, hectic everything at the mo!

Race 1 I chose the Hillman despite doing no real practise in it. Used the same setup as at Winton, but had to change the gears a touch to make it work. Not sure it was quite as good as it was at Winton, but still felt quite grippy. Was still finding my feet a little in quali, so only managed 5th in a car that felt like there was more pace to unlock. So it proved in the race, as I took a number of laps of gaining places with others errors mainly, to drag myself to 2nd. Now had the measure of it mostly, and was gaining nicely on Erling with plenty of laps left, but ran wide at the final turn just as I was getting in proper sight of him, so ran out of laps. Good pace from Erling ensured the gap remained enough for him despite my best efforts. 2nd felt like a decent result given the total lack of speed on the straight though.....

Race 2 was eventful. Battle with Geoff to begin, but the Mazda just had pace to burn compared to my Cortina. Then it was Erling, Geoffers and myself, all three of us catching up with Clive. Geoff found a way to make a break, I just couldn't get ahead and was passed on the straight a number of times if I did by both Erling and Clive, right up to the point where Erling buggered off a bit and left me trying to find a way past Clive by myself. Eventually he ran just wide enough at turn 1, and I was off after Erling. Caught him, but then spent pretty much the whole of the second half of the race trying to get a way through, but to no avail, the Mazda just blew by on the straight in a big way! Great battle though with all the guys, very fair all round.

Race 3, in the Mazda now....I had a good start, but Matt had a belter and was in the lead. Myself and Geoff were involved in some heavy petting at the chicane, watching the replay I may have touched him slightly inappropriately as the car released from the kerb, which might have had a hand in the car getting sideways and both of us exiting stage left. If the bump was the root cause, my apologies Geoff, didn't even know it had happened, juts thought it had gone around on you on the cold tires and dragged me with you.....Got back on with only Geoff behind me, but it was my turn in the Mazda now, so was able to use the hidden nitrous that everyone else had been using on the straight to drag myself up the field. Took my time when I caught up with the front 3 due to having that speed advantage, and then sat behind Matt in second looking for a way past his very wide, and very on the button at the apex, Mazda. No speed advantage now, so had to work an opening with some tow, and made it through with a couple of laps to go. Good defensive driving Matt, enjoyed the tussle.

All good fun, very eventful 3 races indeed.

Cheers to all.
