(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

These Silhouettes have been transformed since we last raced them a couple of years ago, more edgy and the tyres are much more realistic now, especially under braking (very easy to lock up). I would advise anyone who turned there noses up at these to give them a try again, especially the CANHARD R51 (engine roar is very nice!).

Not a massive turnout last night, (but better than we have had on more than one occasion so far this year!). Nice to race on Dubai as well, don't think I have raced on it before, I was still trying out new lines and braking points during the race.

We are off to BilsterBerg next, the first time we have used this circuit at SROU

I like these, now and before. They make good close racing.... except when Frex is 4 seconds faster  :o

Indeed, good timing with this series as there was a big update on these a few days ago. For me the tyre pressures were a bit high on all 4 corners except the front right, although as John said at the end of the race the front left overheated no matter what you did with the setup. I had the diff preload all the way down to almost nothing and traction control on about 40%. I was also short shifting at about 6200 rpm as the power curve drops off well before the redline. This is in the R51, not sure about the other cars. I agree they are nice to drive now, much better than before, just have to be a little careful not to lock the fronts. But for a fantasy car they feel very nice. Good choice Stephen!
