Server's running the same version as last time we used this venue. When I looked the download in post 1 appeared to be the same as I already had.

Anyone else got a problem?

same for me, I used the last version we ran but server is greyed out.

Maybe we all need to download that v2 from the link in my first post

I've downloaded the version from the link in the first post, but I can't see the server, which would suggest it's not the same as on the server.

Try again now, appears there was an error in the CFG file rather than the content itself.

It’s a cool little track, enjoyed it when we raced the Alfa’s there last time.  :) Nice to be back on an open circuit again after two tough street tracks that robbed me both times with discos  :'(

Bumps are part and parcel of an old school circuit.

Oh oohh, you had a lot of time to practice then?..  :-\

I really like this classic version without the horrible chicanes. I actually raced on the modern layout a few times on my race bike years back. It is a cool track on a bike, even with the chicanes. Especially the Bianchi corner and the exit of Terlamen.

You must be unluckiest guy on here for issues Les  :(. Do you make sure other background apps are shut down? Do you defrag your drive often? Make sure all drivers are up to date.

That was a hot and blinking fast race. Very pleased to get 2nd place with a fine drive and after my recent dis cos.  :)
Qually was great and very competitive, I held 2nd until last seconds when Fabri swiped it!

Race start was great and had a cool 3-car battle for many laps but could see I seemed to be quicker than Fabris Ferrari on heavy fuel and eventually got past and created a gap. Had no answer to Tim’s amazing pace despite driving my arms off and not making any errors.
Lost a few secs behind a back marker late on who wouldn’t move over and nearly lost the car  :nono: but thankfully caught it before it went around.
We seemed to have a high attrition rate late on  ??? but it was intense so not too surprised.

Big congrats to James ‘Tim’ Hunt on the win and the podium  8)

I had a brutal game-crash and my steering wheel went haywire too. No idea if it is something related to what happened at LesN.

My race was fun and with a lot of battles. At the start I fought for some corners with Fmg, then for some laps with Mark. After there was long fight with Max, really intensive. Max, I think, if I remember well, the very little contact happened because you went with a tyre on grass and then a bit on right (where I was passing). But a really small thing, race contact, absolutely no problem. And my car started go better then  :)
Vva, taking advantage of this battle, came very close and put pressure, until he had troubles because of a lapped guy.

My Ferrari was clumsy with full tank, but on final laps, lightened, worked a lot better. Unfortunately my race ended at 3 laps from the end due to a crash of the game.
It would have been a 3rd place sweaty.

Impressive pace for Fmg and really good race for Mark. Congratulations to all finishers.

Too bad there where a lot of unfortunate drop outs, as the big grid looked superb in the first part of the race all bunched up together.
On the grid I made a change to my setup which didn't pay off. The car was still quick enough though. At the start I had to avoid a spinning car in front of me and cost me a little bit of time, but the following laps where some great racing.
I was feeling tired and mid-race I lost concentration for a moment and spun exiting the Jacky Ickx chicane. Luckily I could continue to finish the race. Lovely track for these cars!

Congrats to the podium.

I see there were 5 drivers in the 1:21's during the race last night :o  it really should have been an epic battle for 2nd !
FMG is on another level at present with a 1sec per lap advantage here  :o  might get the FIA to check his fuel out  ;D  I suspect he may have ran a lower wing than the rest of us  :-\ i did note in practise/qually that i was losing out half a sec to the front few so i nipped one setting off my rear wing and suddenly started matching them. Did wonder if i could have got away with one fewer than that but might have been risky without testing and i ran out of time, but my car felt pretty stable the whole race.

Fabri was unlucky with his Disco, but that has at least pulled back one of my discos to equalise our running championship battle for 2nd. But i'm keeping a wary eye on ibnsolymer as he's now nipping at my heels in 3rd  :fencing:
Max also showed a rapid turn of pace last night showing that he would be in the championship fight if he'd been in from the beginning. The midfield battle will be closely fought for the rest of the season so those crashing out of the race last night will lament the loss of points.

Turning out a cracking little championship this  :thumbup1:

@Mark, you can be confident that I won't be able to threat you for sure : I have very few chances to keep this temporary 4th place yet.

Race was pretty chaotic here, unfortunately with some contacts here and there : lap1 it was Lade in a diagonal skid-dive that got me off track with his rear left wheel, but I managed to roughly keep control of my car so that I lost only a few positions.
Later (lap5-6) I was side by side with Kimi in pit straightline, unfortunately we contacted, leading to him to retire.. :/ Sorry mate, but I really didn't understand in the heat of the action, watched the replay since and it looks like we didn't understand each other : as you had about 2 meters on your right I thought we'd fight that turn1 braking point as much as possible from the right trajectory, so coming from the right to turn that left, that's why I did a very slight and slow move to the right... I didn't want to extensively pack you on your right (with this dangerous "wall" too close then), only to pick a trajectory in which we'd not lose too much time, and less dangerous for both of us in the end of the braking phase.
After that it was lonely untill I reached Vva, was an intensive chase. He lost a bit of time when Oliver exited the pit lane, I didn't want get him that way, lost concentration and tapped him from behind at the very place I had been victim lap1.. :( Sorry mate. Waited a bit so that our positions were as they were before my fault.
Then fight again, untill that left bend contact, this time with consequences. Watching the replay, I should have let you a little more room to be on the safe side and you could have been a tad closer to the apex. Thank you for having waited for me, was fair !  :thumbup1: Yet I think it was a usual race incident, I feel a bit guilty.. :( And sorry for you as you had a tough and unlucky race with backmarkers..

Awesome little track! Lots of challenges and interesting places to overtake!
Started shitty as always. Watched spectacular fight betweeen Fab and Mark ahead. Guys were very close lap after lap, epic battle!
I managed to get closer to Fab then, but... well, some guy named Oliver brake-tested me pretty skillful after leaving pits like a boss.
At least it wasnt deadly, but i said my bye-bye to 3rd place.
Then i saw somethin yellow behind. Ok, yellow is not red..My mom always say that, and my cat looked positive watching in mirrors... ;D
But Yellow Devil was getting closer... and closer ... and i was rly scared!
Surtees of Maxime (IbnSolmyr) and my P34 both were impressed last several laps, had lots of fun!
First touch was not problem at all, i hardly can remember it, no prob mate!
Unfortunately we collided at 250 km/h in fast left-hander, i donno if it was my f.ckup or his... i guess we were "good" both.
Nevermind, i waited for him and ... once again got good smash in back from someone (may be Seed, dont know exactly). Mommy i hadnt deserve that!
Last few laps i fought with all-yellow-damaged car, was a bit hard.
Anyway great racing from most drivers, grats to podium!
Very sorry for Lesn and Fab due technical issues....

pfft,  I ran into a snail on the way and stole his  :P

should probably be up there giving Tim something to think about but I barely drove these so idk is it me, the car, or the setup (or did the snail trick me) ???
