rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

big turnout for last nights race! made me realise I have very little experience of close proximity battling.

I took it easy for the first lap, conscious that I didn't want to rear end anyone under braking and ruin their race. Had a good few battles during the race, these cars are very challenging to race on the limit since they updated the physics as it is easy to lock up the front brakes under heavy braking.

Congrats to FREX, Geoffers & phspok on 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the final championship standings  :notworthy:

We will be having a test race in a fortnight using the GT2's @Spa. I am thinking of using them for the next series

Good turnout and Gavino fast as usual. Hoped to keep up in the race but I locked up the fronts slightly early on and went off, letting the three cars behind me past. Got alongside Alessandro a couple of laps later but we touched and I was in the gravel a second time. Not a good start! But no matter, still enjoyed these cars and picked up some extra speed when I finally worked out how to take that tricky slow left-hander under the bridge. Found a few tenths there and had good pace later in the race.

Congrats Gavino, Geoff and John, and thanks to Stephen for the organisation. I've really enjoyed these Silhouettes, more fun now than they used to be.

Yes, a good series, first time I had driven these & found them good fun. Thanks to Stephen for organising.

Race went much better than I expected, as I was quite far off the pace in practice. Improved a bit in qually but was not anticipating being near the front in the race. Was 4th early on, after Riccardo was slow away, & spent the first few laps chasing John. Slowly reeled him in & moved up to 3rd when Frex went off, then succeeded in getting past John at the second attempt at T3. Slowly eased away from him until a couple of laps later came across Gavino recovering from a spin(?) at T6, hoped he would pull me along but was too quick, especially through the twisty centre section of the track & he pulled away again to a comfortable win. So 2nd place at the end was much better than I imagined after qually.

Congrats to Gavino on the win & John in 3rd,    & congrats to Frex on the championship  :notworthy:
