Season 36 69x Trophy – Round 1 - Zolder 67

The first race of this season will be at Zolder in Belgium.  
In the days before Spa became a permanent fixture on the F1 calendar, ten grand prix were run at Zolder.
Most famously in 1982 when Gilles Villeneuve tragically lost his life during qualifying.
The new Zolder 67 version is a great piece of track building by Remy and Ginetto.

"Junior" drivers are allowed a maximum of one reset with a compulsory Stop & Go within two laps.
"Senior" drivers are not allowed any resets.

Only reported incidents will be moderated, there is no Red Zone.

I was wondering when the lights of the ethernet ports stopped blinking and found all disconnected, but GPL was running and saving replay...

Right, what we gonna do now? After the strange things in the first corner I was lucky enough to survive without major damage and running in a good 3rd spot towards the end...

Damn! I suck. I apologize Tristan, Axel, Phil, and whoever else I damaged or destroyed. I guess I should be disqualified. :( That showed that I need at least an hour of practice some time before qualifying starts. If I join without practice again, I'll start from the back. My apologies again.

I would be happy if it's not counted this one ... was the shorted race I ever had .... I was carrfully at T1 as I see Greg totaly at the inside before T1.....but closing like this the door at the entry put you out at the exit !!Greg was spinning so I slow down to avoid him but in my back some guys don't slow enought and I'm hit by e.69x (?) and my race was over....:/

What says the rules ?  Drivers must complete 50% race distance to score.

Race was 34 laps so drivers who have completed 17 laps or more must score points.

I have used the ferrari (13pt) but for sure i'm not at home for the race at Spa.So reading the rules now i have 12 token.Right?

Turn 1 was not a great moment  :-\  Apologies to Tris and anyone else that I hit from my P4 start position. I run as e.69x in 1969 cars.

I held 4th off the grid and was watching the 3 cars in front into T1. I saw the first 2 cars get sideways and appear to touch, the car in front of me ( Uli I think?) ran a little wide and braked hard. There was a gap towards the inside and it was clear that I could not stop before I hit the car in front, so I tried to force the car to the inside and bounced over the kerb...it was then that I made contact with another car ( Tris??). I almost squeezed through and there was a moment when I thought I had escaped the carnage....but no.
I think the impact damaged my engine, because within half a lap after getting rolling again everything went quiet and I parked the car. :-\

It should be :

20 + 10 - 13 = 17 pts after Zolder

so 17+ 10 = 27 pts for starting Montjuich

then if you're missing SPA (or any of the 5 first races), 10 pts will be removed ...

(so do not choose Matra MS80 for Montjuich because 27 -20 = 7 pts after Montjuich  and 7-10 = -3 pts after Spa)  :blink:

However a "Junior" driver who fails to start any of the first 5 races will only be eligible for an initial allocation of 10 tokens (rather than 20).

If i was senior:5+10-13=2 .i have done 15 for junior instead of 20

That's interesting.  I have always read that to mean that a junior driver who missed all of the first five races would not have the extra points.

Ops,i read wrong.5 token are only for senior.If " driver who fails to start any of the first 5 races " mean all,i have 17 token.
If mean ,only one of the first five,i have 7 token.

Actually I had resigned myself to the fact that I just had bad luck yesterday, of course annoying, especially on P1 but shit happens - that's racing - sometimes ;)
But as I found out today I was surprised that it was a mass disco and according to the rules the race will be scored.
After reviewing the replay - THX to you Axel for saving it! Just have a look on it and see how the GPL damage model works with the flying four wheel F1 - when my avoiding manoeuvre in T1 failed (I get in touch with Clive who was on the right side) and led to my rollover. Clive and I were able to continue in 5th and 6th position. Three exciting laps with Dave, Phil and Andreas followed. THX for the fair and controlled fighting guys.
What a pity Tris that you, without making any mistake, were the 1st one out - BIG SRY to you.
Lucky win in the end, I wouldn‘t have had a chance to stop Greg.
I'm already looking forward to T1 in Montjuich next race! Let‘s make it better.

Fran correctly answered his own question but to save everyone the trouble....

I've loaded the chassis the drivers used into the token calculator spreadsheet.  For the next race the available tokens will be as declared in the table below (the table will also appear in the next race announcement).  The calculated values are automated but selecting the cars is a manual process so please check your tokens to make sure I haven't made a silly error. There was no token overspend for this round so no one is disqualified.

No, you won't lose the 10 tokens regardless of how many races you miss.

So you can go skiing and miss the next round at Interlagos (or any of the next 4 rounds) in the knowledge that your tokens are safe.

Thank you Phil,i miss 2 races in the 69(spa & Le mans) and 2 in the 67(Willow & Imola).I'm ,respectively,in the Philipinas and Red sea.
Fortunately for the date of the 55 and 66 i'm at home the day before.
