Time of Day Setting: 13:00

(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.
(6) Start procedure
*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

It'll be tight as to whether or not I get on in time this Sunday. Either way I hope the racing is enjoyable.

Thank god thats over, I was losing the will to live the last 10 minutes & gave up with one lap to go & waited for the leaders to come around. This really is one of the worst tracks in RaceRoom.

Congrats to Glenn & Frex.

I quite like it, think there are some nice flowing corners where one corner leads into another, still each to there own!

Great race Frex, I don't think there was more than 2 seconds in it at any point.

When I selected soft tyres all round I thought the gamble was going to be making the rears last as I'm usually hard on rear tyres. It was actually the fronts I struggled with and had to do the last three laps with a 'red' front left. Frex closed right up again and the front left kept overheating as every 3/4 of a lap or so I under steered well out of track limits - on the second to last lap I almost took an accidental trip through the pits at the last corner.

Congrats to Geoff on 3rd as well and apologies to Bill for the accidental nudge that put you into a spin.

Yes, good race Glenn, enjoyed that one. I was on the softs again also and it makes the race quite interesting trying to manage them. I now think playing with the TC helps a bit as reducing it seemed to balance out the tyre wear overall - this time I had all four tyres in the orange at the end and none of them flashing red, which definitely helped me to close right up to you towards the end. I also quite like the track - the two long straights seem a bit pointless, but it has some interesting corners. Just a shame Geoff went wide on the first lap (I did too, but not by as much!) - would have been a three way fight otherwise. Congrats Glenn.

Thanks Glenn, I’m the tortoise of the Group. Afraid I over did it (taking advantage of the weather) and was shattered by Race time I just couldn’t get the proper line and spent more time off the track than on! ::) I thought it wise to leave you all to race than ruin someone else’s race.

No Frex, I could not consistently match the pace you & Glenn were setting, but I used the hard tyres, guess I will have to risk the softs next time although I don't think I could make them last on the Corvette.

Don't take much notice of me disliking the track. I have found in the GTL races here that I often dislike tracks that others love & vice-versa, maybe I'm just a bit weird!

I like the track, though it isn't a fave. I ran hards and was as often happens struggling to keep the leaders in sight
and I had some work I should have been doing, so left. I still have to delete the previous event, and redo it so
I can enter the correct results file. I will try to do that this week some time.  ::)

Not so sure about that, you're fastest race laptime on hards is one thousandth off mine on softs! And of course we were very close at Zandvoort too. I think if you had stayed in the tow you would have been there all race..
