Sorry I was a bit late starting the server tonight gents.

Absolutely I'm not able to drive a Lotus if I blew engine in 4 laps. I noted watching other Lotus driver that they used higher gears than me everywere. It woud be better to stay with Braby, I raced many time at Zandy and had my PB with it and the car is more reliable, but I was too eager and I was punished  :'(

Does anyone know who T Marshall is? I can't associate the race name with a forum name.

Maybe Farina, I think he uses this in fun races at Mybroga, must have been wrong. I'll ask.

In my replay there isn't anyone with that name. Maybe someone joined with a wrong name and leaved before I joned?

Yes it looks like Enrique joined with the wrong name and then left and rejoined with his real race name. If so, I can just delete T Marshall from the results.

No because I need to moderate the last couple of races & award bonus points fit drivers who used all 7 cars.

I have moderated the Zandvoort race & the result is published - including chassis bonus points for drivers who scored points.

It was a very close finish in the championship between Tim & Tristan. I still need to look at the Imola & Jarama races. There are no reported incidents & Tim will get one bonus point at Imola.
So our champion from Austria is Tim Roedl - congratulations.

First championship I ever could win in my entire life -never was a winner but always good for a 3rd place ;) -what a great feeling winning here on this historic racing-site amoung this enthusiastic community!!!

So, big thanks to all guys from UKGPL & GPLBrazil running this championship -choosing great tracks, collecting all pieces together and keeping all this wonderful piece of history alive!

My season was perfect at the beginning so I could take it a little bit easier in the second half.. -no, just choking. I just decided for stronger chassis at the beginning, which made me win easier. Then at the end it got really close with Tristan -he´s always fast and a permanent candidate for winning!
Sure I had some bad luck at Willow Springs and Riverside with unexpected "discos", but also I had good luck at Bathurst when Renato Jungle droped out sitting in a Lotus in unreachable position in front and also at the last race in Zandvoort when I didn´t wreck the car when I went into the fences plus in the same race when Raoni Frizzo made his mistake and handed back P2 to me. At the end one point did the desicion and every reached point during the championship was worth it to fight..

I hope we´ll meet on track again guys somewhen in the future. I for myself need a brake as my private life has changed in the last months and that is a positive change for me - I´m feeling lucky!

Right now I´m on holiday on lake Weissensee in southern Austria and have the luck of being here where it seems the time has stopped somewhen in the seventies -far from mass-tourism and so quiet.. I need that brake from job and a little bit from GPL too. And I hope to be back reloaded soon, we´ll see.

To qualify for the extra points you had to start a race in each chassis. I can't find a race in which you drove the BRM. Did we miss you off the results of one of the races?

But it ist mentioned by a moderator in this thread as well...

I don't know how you were missed off the race results but I made a note of the chassis used (see this post (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=18151.msg327071#msg327071)). The list shows you took the BRM.  I'll amend the championship points.

Done. I had to add your bonus points to Round 7, the Riverside race (where you scored points), otherwise your bonus points don't appear in the championship table.

That's my fault - sorry.
As you will see from Phil's post all the Bonus points had to be added manually because our system is set up to use tokens.
You can only add bonus points if the driver completed enough laps to score.
Looks like I forgot you.

Did Bastian actually join as "t marshall"? Or has the driver been set there for administrative purposes?

Opps no it was a mistake by me. I've put it back to t marshall in an Eagle. I was trying to add Bastian's points and I shouldn't have edited the results at that point. I think everything is OK now.
