ALL TIMES ARE BST
Practice: 19:30 (45 mins)
Qual: 20:15 (15 mins)
Race: 20:30  (2x 20 mins - 2nd race is reversed grid)
(20mins plus 1 lap each race)

Complete car pack download can be found here:

If you extract the RAR into your Assetto Corsa directory and let it overwrite, then everything should end up in the right place :)

The following cars are available - note that the Estonia 21 will be an older version of the Mod (V1.0.3), this is because the current version - while more accurate to real life - is heavily under powered compared to the rest of the field. If you have the original version of my full pack (Brands Hatch or earlier) and haven't updated the Estonia yet you can download just it at the following location:

I'm using protyres with these cars. With new version 2.0 you don't need lut files.

Yet another luvely new track where momentum is key to succes. And Fabri a second faster than anyone at the moment.  :o  (we should defenatly sabotage his car this week)

bit confused about that statement. I already had Pro-tyres 2.0 installed and it doesn't give me any tyre info for these mod cars.  ??? When I look under 'mod cars' under the pro tyre folder it doesn't list these single seaters either.  :-\

Yes another nice track layout, not learnt it yet as there are a lot of corners  :P

I'm pretty sure Lorenzo is faster. And never underestimate Tim, never.  ;D

The track is beautiful and the interpretation of it is very important. Better to make T2 and T4 slow to accelerate early.

Here my setup for Avia: https://www.dropbox.com/s/48mwjxue6v0wssp/avia%20pannonia.ini?dl=0

Yes, very true Fabri. Our German neighbours call those "Geduld Kurven"

Car_mods is no longer in use with protyres 2.0. It reads directly from the car, though you can put the lut an ini fles in cars_extra to overide for that car. So you can try putting the files for your car in that folder.
For me it was working with protyres 1.5 and lut in car_mods, but I upgraded to 2.0 because protyres are not showing anything in tc legends bmw for me. Unfortunately, it's still not working in 2.0 as well. I even ran into protyres author on sro forum (second race thread) and he looked into it, and it's a bug in the tcl car files.

Kimi, sorry for the touch in race 1 - luckily no damage done but my fault for sure :(. Sorry to see you run wide a few laps later, honestly you had me beat  :)

Race 1 was great, fantastic battles with plenty of racing room and respect. Also the most unlikely successful pass I've performed yet, taking Fabri for 2nd on the outside of T3 on the final lap :o

Race 2 I was punted off the track from behind while still under braking for T4 2 corners after taking the lead - as soon as I've seen the replay to get the time stamp that one's going in the report box.
Combine that with the assorted carnage witnessed throughout the rest of the race that I was lucky enough to pass and that was essentially a very bad joke.

I'm tempted to bin the reverse grid in race 2 as it's clearly not working

Guys, really, Race 2 was not playble.
I don't like reporting and I won't.
But for the next time, you have to understand:
1. If you are fighting and you have on side a car, you cannot make a line as if you were alone. So slow down and give room to make the turn safely.
2. if you see an accident in front of you, slow down and look for a safe line.

Good battle in Race 1 with Tim, I lost of course.  :)

Unfortunately the two race format and reverse grid second race are the reason for my absence on recent Wednesdays.

Oddly despite the carnage, I really enjoyed both races. Think I finished 5th in race 1 despite having to short shift for ages after my engineer told me ‘don’t think we are going to make it on fuel’ about 10mins into the race  ::) :)
Race 2 I was nerfed off at T1 despite not changing my line and staying to the outside  ::) but just shows how many silly incidents there were that I went from dead last to 1st over the race distance (Threw that short lead away literally as I thought ‘ican win this’  ) and then finished 3rd after getting spun round with 1.5 laps to go whilst 2nd :taz: But still finished the race smiling as had good pace in race 2, had dodged many of the incidents and even held off the flying Tim and had a brief spell battling Fabri :)

Unfortunately you may be right in thinking reverse grid isn’t working for race 2. With the finite close racing required with these, there is maybe too much variation in speed and racing lines amongst the grid to avoid incidents. Add that to the ‘none  shall pass’ mentality of a few (even if they cock up) and it’s chaos.  :walkman:

Exactly.
Overtaking, especially with cars, is often an agreement between the two drivers. Both must think of "how to get the two cars through without making a mess".
This is completely missing from most simracing players (I mean in general, in all groups or open servers). Accidents almost always happen for really stupid reasons and often even after a review they are or can be judged as racing accidents, because it is enough that only one of the two drivers has not been cautious enough to make contact.
"Ops, racing contact", "eh but your noise was 30 cm behind mine", "my line was the racing line", etc etc.
Thinking instead about how you would drive in reality would help a lot.

Surely "racing sims" are badly designed and neglect the damage model. With serious damage to each hard contact and related forced withdrawal, people would learn to be more careful.

Obviously mistakes and misunderstandings are not and will never be a problem for me, all can wrong.

I just about learnt the track before the end of practice, i really like this track. There were noticeably less incidents this week. I had plenty of close racing and some good fights in both races.

Although i have done hundreds of races here at SROUK most of them have not involved close battling like this. I had a few moments in the second race going through corners side by side where i think i might have made contact with others (although i have triple screens it is still hard to know exactly how far up people are and how close they are from actually touching you). If i was at fault i apologise
