Welcome to the 7th round of the Srou Formula Easter Championship.
We are back in Poland for this round at the Eastern loop layout of the Silesia Ring.
This is a modified airfield circuit, but no fear as on the short layout there is very little boring straight line action!
The infield has some fast and technical sections and should prove to be great fun to race at.

Following from last round the reverse grid will remain with only the top 6 being switched, as we had a very clean looking race last time out.

If you extract the RAR into your Assetto Corsa directory and let it overwrite, then everything should end up in the right place :)

The following cars are available - note that the Estonia 21 will be an older version of the Mod (V1.0.3), this is because the current version - while more accurate to real life - is heavily under powered compared to the rest of the field. If you have the original version of my full pack (Brands Hatch or earlier) and haven't updated the Estonia yet you can download just it at the following location:

had to reinstall windows from scratch at the weekend. I have downloaded the car pack and the track but am getting a missing content error when I try to log on the server :(

deleted and reinstalled track and cars from the same download and it mysteriously worked! scraped on to the server with less than a minute of qually left. Used the first race to get used to the track but was still way off the pace in the second race so just did a bit of hot lapping, nice flowing track this!

Hard races with hard battles.
I tryed to defend myself in race 1 and to attack in race 2. Neither of which it succeeded.  :laugh:

Sorry Syd for the brutal ram at first corner, and your defence during the two last laps was impressive. Well done!

Another race where my lack of practise ultimately hurt my laptimes. I actually managed a half hour practise sesh this week beforehand so at least knew the track this time but my plan to turn up early on the night for more laps backfired thanks to RL so turned up a few mins before qually  ::)

Race 1 i wasnt massively off the pace but enough to put me near the back of the disapointing grid size  :'(  But could tell my setup was too stiff and car was understeer to oversteer in most corners. Meant a lonely race by mid distance and trailed Syd home by about 7 seconds i think.

Race 2 made some tweaks and car was much better. As i started near the front i knew i'd have a series of fast cars catching and attacking so i was able to enjoy some good little battles even if ultimately they'd get past (all cleanly). When Syd and Fabri caught me, we had a fantastic 3 way battle to the flag and i might have held onto my 3rd if i didnt finally crack under pressure with 1.5mins to go and make a mistake in one of the turns allowing both past me  :taz: But was  still great fun as fabri attacked Syd whilst i looked for opportunities to sneak up the inside a couple of times while they battled.  8)

I think this series could have been a real surprise gem of single seater racing, but sincerely think that because the contacts werent stamped upon in the early rounds, we've all paid the price in low attendances for the latter part of the series. A real shame as fuller grids would have been great fun in these.
