Applies to Round's 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13. RACE TWO - CUP STAGE B, Round 11 Practice: ~21:05 (5 mins) Qualifying: 21:10 (10 mins) Race: 21:20 (24 laps) Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk Monday Password: see above (#post_event_password) Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: To score points in this series you must complete over 50% of the overall race distance. I had good pace for race 1, but Daz was out of this world at Dijon so no chance to catch him. We had good chase with Geoffers as always. This time the gap i made at the beginning was enough to stay ahead of him and finish in P2. If we had 1 more lap i think he was going to catch my slip stream and attack. For race 2 everything went wrong for me. We had a mass crash at turn 1 but i was able to stay alive and just behind Geoffers. I was thinking to much about the title battle and was too much ambitious to overtake Geoff and started accelerating too early for the chicane exit and hit the barriers. I repeat the same thing later and my race was ruined by me. At the end i finish in P6 and got some points to keep me level with Geoff just two races before the final, which is nice. Daz is now leading comfortably but as we saw everything can happen in the championship and i think we will have great battle for the title. 8) Congrats to Daz for the commanding wins and to Geoffers, Tony and Matt for the podiums.
