Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Not sure what the heck happend in the last race - got a 'Race finished' message when I passed the start/finish; slowed down and hit escape - only to find the drivers ahead still going another lap and me registered as DNF???   Never seen that before  ???

Tony, can we make a poll about our favorite championship this year? I will definitely vote for this one!

Make that 2 votes Dimitar, despite having had to watch as 2 cars always vanished over the horizon in every race.  :-\

In the final race I finally began to find some genuine pace and control with these cars. Except for the FF vanishing when I went to the grid which screwed up all 3 starts as I fumbled for the ALT/F keys to kick it back in whilst trying to avoid  collecting any other drivers.

Mixed feelimgs about this series. The latter part has in general been good, but early on races left me so frustrated that I withdrew from the series on purpose, not wanting to do the rest of it.

Yesterday, race 1 was definitely the most interesting.  Chased by Matt over the early laps, but then he dropped back a little, to play with The Evil One instead. The latter got past him and started homing in on me. Determined to make him work for it, if he wanted my place, I flogged that E-Type for all it's worth.  He got within 1.5 secs I believe, but somehow I managed to stay ahead to the finish. Not easy with his faster Aston, so had to work hard for it.

Race 2 the most unremarkable.  Stole a place from Clive at the start, and reclaimed one from Matt on L1 when he spun, seemingly after contact with Hristo.  After a few laps, all went quiet. Aliens were gone, and so were the cars behind. Thus sat in my own, lonely and too familiar bubble for the remainder of the race.

Race 3 had a few surprises. First was grabbing the lead at the start. Didn't last long, as Daz squeezed past on L1.  Second surprise was keeping up with him, even pressuring him in places over the following laps.  DD & Hristo seemingly had a coming together on L1, dropping back. Eventually of course, the duo caught up. Having Hristo filling my mirrors distracted me - or that's my excuse anyway, for braking too late at T1, tapping Daz & myself into a spin - sorry about that.  Daz fortunately faced the right way and quickly could continue, while I had to turn around first.  With this the usual pecking order was restored  ::)   Final surprise came at the end when, as reported earlier, I got the 'Race finished' one lap too soon and thus didn't complete it. Never seen that before  ???

Grats to the usual podium suspects in all races.

A bit like Erling, I got rather frustrated with these cars. I just did not have the pace of the Bulgarian duo or Daz when he turned up so spent most of the races I did running around on my own or extracting my car from the scenery after over driving in an effort to keep up. Consequently I found the AC & RRE races on Wednesdays more appealing & had much more fun. Sorry.

Congrats to Dimitar for winning the championship! It was well deserved with the performance he delivered when it mattered, particularly in the very last race!

I knew it was a tall order to win all 3 starts, but it was a good start with a dominant drive with the Astons in the first race, as I managed to find the right balance and pull away after having to overtake to get back to 1st place because of a slow start.

In the second race it was a similar situation at the start, as I dropped down to 4th or so, then chasing Dimitar as he made his way through those in front. Apologies to Matt for spinning him around, but I couldn't avoid the collision as he suddenly lost speed after hitting the wall at Stowe and then I decided not to wait because I was fighting for the title.

Daz then decided not to interfere with our title battle, so I was back up to 2nd, but overtaking Dimitar was almost impossible because of how laggy he appeared from my point of view. I noticed on his stream recording that he didn't see me lagging at all, so I'm not sure why and how that happens. Eventually I made a lunge from quite further back to overtake him in the last corner, with just 2 laps to go. It wasn't very fair, but I had no choice.

In the last race it was Dimitar's turn to be disadvantaged by starting from pole (I remember it was similar in GPL, because of the track surface angle), but I still dropped behind Daz and Erling, then got spun by Dimitar at Stowe as I had to decelerate harder to stay behind the two battling ahead. He waited and let me by, and so we resumed our battle.

We were just catching up to Daz and Erling after a few laps, when both had a collision and went off at T1, so I was suddenly leading the race, with about 1.4 secs gap to Dimitar. He went up another gear though and was already in my slipstream near the end of the lap. I thought he was going to dive on the inside similarly to what I did in race 2, so I opened the door too much and he was through.

I was still feeling confident I could close in on him and overtake back, but he was just too fast. I did have one chance when I attacked at T1, but braked too late and couldn't quite hold the outside line. After that he managed to open the gap of up to 1.5 seconds and even though I somehow managed to set the fastest lap on the very last lap, it was not enough.

I wasn't so happy with how things turned out, but after missing several races at the start of the season and after the bad luck at Zolder, winning the championship was a bit unrealistic.

As others have pointed out, this was one of the best championships we've ever had here, with the combination of cars and tracks giving such close racing most of the time. It was thoroughly enjoyable! Thanks to all who took part and making it such a memorable season!
