Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Pampa needs to register if he wants to race here in future.

And would whoever is supplying these unregistered driver's with our download content please desist.

Unregistered drivers get one race as a guest. After that they will be booted if not registered.

No fun tonight as I found out I was at least 2 secs slower than everyone else. No idea why. Ok, I'm not claiming to be light speed fast normally but so off pace is unusual. Ho hum. Oh, and I received a stop/go for ignoring blue flags (I was playing with Dan who had lapped me  ::) ). Shame as I really like this circuit and the cars.

Tough race! Was off pace during most of practice and qualifying, struggling to set up the car and to figure out how to drive it around the track. By the end of the session the setup felt a bit better and somehow manage to dig deep on my very last attempt and suddenly improve by almost a second, at least 2-3 tenths of which thanks to Clive giving me slipstream out of the final corner as I was completing the lap.  ;D

Had no idea what to expect from the race though and was feeling uncomfortable with braking late, especially in the middle sector and the slower corners. I had a good start but then Dimitar reached higher speed before T1 and also braked later, which allowed him to temporarily take the lead on the outside. I stayed in his blind spot though and it seemed he didn't want to take any risks by shutting the door, so we went side by side through all 3 right-handers, then I was finally back in front.

Obviously I knew he can brake very late and that worried me, so I either tried to stay a bit off line or brake late myself, just to make sure he doesn't get caught out behind and hit me. I just hoped he wouldn't think I was brake testing him or something, because that wasn't the case - I was really struggling to slow down the Datsun!

He was gaining massively at the uphill left and the next right, but I could go a bit quicker around the faster bends. Eventually he had a good run on me out of that uphill left, after I went too wide, and he was slightly ahead down the next straight, but then he braked too late and went off straight into the barrier!  :o Luck was on my side...

I tried to stay focused and just find my rhythm, but in the meantime after dropping to 4th or 5th, he managed to quickly move back to 2nd, with the gap initially at around 5 seconds and then fluctuating between the 7-8 sec mark.

I made the first of my 2 bigger mistakes by going off at the penultimate corner and so the gap was down to 6 seconds. From there on the gap remained pretty much the same until the last 1/3rd of the race, when I had another off and the gap was now down to just 3 seconds!

With the tyres wearing off, it was so easy to make a mistake, so I just tried to focus on keeping it steady, but I still had to take risks whenever I felt comfortable, because on some occasions Dimitar was easily shaving off a few tenths in just a single corner or track section, with the gap dropping to under 3 seconds. On some laps I managed to increase the gap a bit to nearly 4 seconds, but I couldn't maintain it for long.

Traffic played a bit of a role, but nothing major, so it boiled down to who was going to make another mistake. Neither of us did though and so I managed to bring it home in one piece!

Very happy with the result, as it's been a while since I had success in these races. Grats to Dimitar for the great drive - you were definitely quicker on average, more consistent, and if it wasn't for that off I doubt I could've done much to challenge you. Grats to everyone else as well for making it to the end!

Average sort of race for me. Quite enjoyed driving the Opel but ultimately both the car & I were not quick enough to challenge the faster Datsun drivers.

Ran 3rd at the start of the race with Hristo & DD disappearing into the distance. Had a brief spell in 2nd when DD went off, but he quickly caught & passed me & I then had Alvaro hunting me down. I then had a brief game freeze, something which bugged me earlier this year but had not happened recently  ???, so rather than cause Alvaro a problem I pulled over & let him past. Another freeze a little later allowed Shaggy to close in & when I made a big mistake late in the race he went past. I tried to reel him back in but a couple more mistakes on worn tyres meant I was well behind him at the finish.

Happy to be first Opel but not really able to challenge the Datsuns here.

Congrats to the usual suspects on the podium.

Very good race as Hristo hammered his way to the pole position with stunning lap. He was definitely faster on the last corner by a lot but on the other corners we were level so i had my hopes. It was clear that maybe we will fight for the win but i was keeping an eye on Geoff who was making wonders with slower Opel and AGM as i didn't knew his real pace.

The start was a little bit better for me but Hristo was able to stay on top as we had great battle in the first 3-4 laps i think. After that i lost focus and forgot where was the brake marker for one of the corners. I went off course and hit the wall really hard, losing my front "wing" but there was no change in the car's performance. I didn't looked for other drivers while i was making my way back to the track and we almost collided with Shaggy so apologies. :)

After that i had short battle with Shaggy and a little bit longer with Geoff as i had a lot of problems to brake Geoffers for second position. I had to be extra aggressive as Hristo was pulling away.

When i was back into P2 the gap was now 8 seconds and i knew it was going to be tough. Even though Hristo suffered from "the commentator's curse" and lost 5 seconds we drove like twins almost the whole time and i was unable to make the gap to less then 2 seconds.

He totally deserve his win, grats Hristo and Alvaro on great podium.

I am very happy to see more of my Spanish friends - Pampa and Truman here. They are welcome and it's even more fun with them as we already have Alvaro and Shaggy and from time to time Santiago a.k.a. Oso_Rullo.

Hi:

My name is Luis. My nickname is PAMPA. I hope to be able to participate in the races here as regularly as possible. I'm not the fastest guy on the track, but I hope to improve enough to be consistent.

A big greeting to all

I see them on the track.

Just to clarify this point. Distribution to registered driver's is fine. Just not to un-registered driver's please.
