Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

This is probably an error with Registration. Did you create a driver profile?
When required to enter an online code did you leave out the dashes?

Thank you Tony for letting me know I don't have the right to drive Opel. I was going to be DQed and lose the champ.  ;D

First of all a congrats to DD for winning the Championship, and to Hristo for the race victory.  Same to Manfred & Micha on the podium.

Race quite unremarkable from my point of view.  Beginning of lap 2, I had Micha screaming past me.  Even with slipstream, I was wondering aloud "are we driving the same car??".  Mystery deepend when next DD was catching me as well, in the supposedly slower 914, while my engine was screaming its head off.  Only then did I realize I was in 4th!!  I had missed an upshift.  Rectified and just managed to stay ahead of DD at Lesmo.  Micha was getting away; nothing I could do about that, but with no more gear cockups, I was able to exact the same on DD.

On lap 5, Superstarter Dan spun at Lesmo, allowing me to reclaim the position he stole at the start in usual fashion.  He seemingly had more trouble at Ascari, dropping further back.  From this point, the race slowly went lonely as so often before, with gaps growing lap by lap, front & back.  Main challenge was to avoid mistakes in the critical places.

Want to wish everyone a merry and safe Christmas!  Cya next week for the special.

Thanks, Tony! You've done a great work all around this season, it was a pleasure racing with you guys!

Happy holidays to all!

As for my race, I was misled by Dimitar to practice in the Opel  :wetfish: so when I finally realized I would be using the Datsun, there was not much time for practicing and setting up the car. I used my Hockenheim setup, but Manfred was much quicker and I was struggling to find the pace. With a few changes things improved and I almost got him at the end of Q, but the car was still not comfortable to drive. Made some blind final changes before the star and they really transformed the handling, as I soon found out after the start.

Had a good start for a change and pulled away from the rest, then just paced myself looking after the tyres. This allowed Manfred to catch up and I almost lost it twice trying to fend him off. I just couldn't quite escape enough to stop giving him slipstream. Eventually he made a mistake too though and that was it.

Quite happy with the result and also the fastest lap I did near the end. Congrats to Dimitar on a well deserved title! I had my chances if Daz entered and if Dan, Kurt and Clive didn't hit troubles, but it was not meant to be.  ::)
