Apologies to Stefan for knocking you off in race 1 :(, lost interest after that. Not going to do any more of these, just spend more time off track than on it.

That alright Geoff. Altough a bit of an opportunistic launch on the entry of T1, I would consider this a racing accident. Also a contact in race 2, so the result could have been better. But I really liked these cars on this iconic and fast track.

Please consider joining the next venue Geoff

Nice couple of races yesterday.
The first race was relatively quiet having started in pole and with an early 4secs gap over Jari that allowed me to cruise my way to the end of the race without complications but being kept honest.

Race 2 video: https://youtu.be/xEBbxWKmQpA (https://youtu.be/xEBbxWKmQpA)
The second race was a completely different kettle of fish... The reverse grid and naturally fast start at the Rettilineo, combined with some over cautiousness after the events at Barbagallo, kept me in the last position for a couple of laps. This was followed by a sequence of overtakes over Stefan, SWR, and Jari, and a final very challenging chase after Stephen Barker.
I was catching up steadily but with three laps to go, I stalled a bit on my progress and it was obvious that it would be on the edge to repeat my double win with the Dallara in these series... Two laps to go and I closed the gap to 1.3 secs. Down to the final lap I had managed to get within a second of Stephen and was bracing for a massive final lap... But then luck felt on my side and Stephen had a wobble that allowed me to overtake in T1 and push hard the rest of the lap to avoid surprises. Great race from Stephen in any case.
Congrats to the podiums and looking forward to seeing you all at Donington.
