Title: UKGPL Season 38 (Spring 2021) 1967 F1 Sprint (Works) - Parana - Mar 7 Post by: Rainier on March 02, 2021, 10:42:54 PM +0000 Season 38 – 1967 F1 WORKS – Round 5 – PARANA 1987
For the 5th round we are going to Argentina. Paraná is the capital of Entre Ríos province, to the north of Buenos Aires. The Autódromo Ciudad de Paraná has a history going back to 1941, but was a dirt track with various layouts until asphalt was finally laid in 1969. The track has never hosted a championship F1 race, but has seen many national and international races for cars and bikes. Carlos Reutemann was a F2 champion here. It is a wide track allowing easy overtaking on long straights. There are tight corners too and it runs in an anti-clockwise direction.
Please restrict chat to emergency messages only including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line. Handicapping This serie is a joint championship with GPL Brazil so, please, read carefully these new and specific rules : Drivers will have a FREE CHOICE of chassis however, a bonus of 50 championship points will awarded to each driver that uses all 7 chassis. To qualify for bonus points, each chassis should be used at least once and no chassis can be used more than twice." A bonus point will be awarded for pole position. A bonus point will be awarded for the fastest lap. Any driver who uses the same chassis more than twice will not be awarded any bonus points. A driver must cross the start line in order to register the use of a chassis, participation in qualifying is not sufficient. It is not necessary to use 7 different chassis for the first 7 races. However at the end of the season, all 7 chassis must have been used to qualify for the bonus points. Points will be allocated from 1st to 12th as follows: 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Drivers must complete 75% race distance to score. All rounds count towards the driver's championship. For each race, only the top two drivers from each team count towards team championship. All rounds count towards team championship. Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents do carry an extra 1 place penalty. Only reported incidents will be moderated. Happy for this victory and relieved not to be responsible for the accident at V2 because having been careful under braking I was afraid of having blocked. I had a good advantage in Lotus which allowed me to stay in front in addition to the gap due to the accident behind. Many claiming victory will be penalized. :-\ I am going to make 2 short trips off the track and will only be worried at the end of the race by Baab's return to FERRARI. Well done to Filipo for 3rd place and to everyone for this race. Thanks to the organizers. It was nice to finish one for a change. I managed not to hit anything and kept the Honda engine running though I over revved it some. Thanks for letting me pass Arf and Andreas. I don't know if I ever could have found a way around you two if you hadn't let me pass. I hope to get some practice for the remaining races. I would be nice to be more sure of what I'm doing. Montjuic is the only race I've been pleased with my driving. Thanks for the fun guys. Try to take good care of yourselves. I was involved in the L1 crash and I thought that my race was done with a fragile car like that. Instead I could restart with some damage to suspension that I had to adapt my driving to it. I drive Lotus very rarely and it was a sweet surprise the low tourque so that you don't need 1st and 2nd gears. I had much care of the engine and it paid. I can't ear my engine but I can ear all the other around me very well !?? so very hard to drive like this I ear clearely the noise of the tires on the track but the engine nearly not ...it's ok went Iam alone whith no car around me ( if the other cars are more than 200 m of me !!?? ....some idea to solve this big problem ?? this append only whith the 60fps ...it's not append in 36fps (OAO)....

It was the HDMI cable I'm using. I quit trying to use the HDTV for sound and plugged my headphones into the computer's sound card. Dans les options du jeu, vous pouvez définir le nombre de sons - j'en utilise 6. Minimum c'est 4... Cela ne peut pas avoir de rapport avec le 60FPS, car sinon le son serait différent. Comme si vous parliez à l'hélium. I did a bit of praccy for the race and expected to be a bit quicker in qualifying but thankfully was far enough up the grid to avoid the L1 chaos. Tris was on my gearbox in no time and after numerous mistakes he managed to get by and we both seemed to close on Alain a bit, who was probably taking it easy. A few laps later Tris dropped out and Alain pulled a 10 second gap on me. With Fulvio a good distance back and not being able to catch Alain I settled down and tried to make the car last. Occasionally the gap dropped down a bit but Alain maintained a safe buffer throughout, good drive Alain. Apart from a few nervous moments lapping cars it was reasonably uneventful!
