This track reminds me of going around Mt. Rainer on the Eastside in my '57 AH "Bugeye" Sprite in 1967. However, there were far fewer barriers and it was as long a drop. It was scary even when I was 20. That road was washed out badly in a storm in 2006 and don't really know if it has been rebuilt, "el-cheapo" Feds in D.C.

I am testing at the moment and the hill is very tricky but so fun, a lot more fun than last year as now we have more power, but with power we have the obligation to keep the people's houses

I run Luceram also in RBR, only we have navigator with notes there . Here the road is less wide too.

Even though there was quite few disconnections, server log file includes lap times even for Mike Harley, Geoffers and SpecialKS who disconnected during the event. :)

Now I just need to find time finalizing my own tool, which converts Qualifying report file to race report file. :)

Soo, the results and points will be a bit delayed this time. But they will come. :)

EDIT: replay file got saved to server, so that will be also available.

Grats to Hristo. Hw found great pace at the end and he deserve the victory of the first hillclimbing.

I was very fast as well. My first stint was not good because i touch the wall at the beginning and lost 3 seconds. Hristo stun me after that with 15.1 and i had to answer and i did it 15.0 and everything was going to be decided on stint 3.

Unfortunately i had too much desire to take the victory and went too much inside in one of the hairpins and went into the traffic barrier. It's a shame because i was 2 tents faster already even though i was +0.4 after the first few corners.

At the end i am happy to have the hill record now 15.0 and the best time on the server - 14.6 from earlier today.

Grats all that finish and I'll see you next time.

I was very surprised to clock a 4:15 on my very first run, despite a slow spin right at the end, to cross the finishing line sideways.  ;D

Was going quicker on my 2nd run, but the pressure from potentially doing a 4:14 got to me and I started making mistakes, but it was still enough to get the overall victory.

On my 3rd run I just tried too hard and flew off into the scenery.  ::)

Congrats to Hristo on the win . Amazing pace from him & DD, some 10s faster than I could achieve.

First two runs were good apart from overshooting one of the hairpins on the first run & stalling the car costing about 15s. Final run, I got a bit carried away by being over a second up on my best very early in the run. Predictably I came to grief & spun the car, red mist descended then leading to more mistakes & finally quitting.

Have to say, I'm not really a fan of these hillclimbs, they were novel to start with but I get a bit bored with all the waiting now.

Grats to the guys at the sharp end.

Did virtually no practise for this, and it showed of course, but I wasn't enjoying it as much as the smaller cars we used last year.

However, popped a reasonable run in first time up in a safety first kind of fashion, which I was relatively chuffed with, miles away from the front two though.....Tweaked the gearing a bit, and the car was much quicker on run 2, I was 2.5 seconds up before a wall jumped out and mugged me....Similar story for the 3rd run, was nearly 4 seconds up before just missing the braking at one of the many hairpins around 2/3rds into the run and the car ended up beached and going nowhere at all.

Still would have been nowhere near the pair duelling at the front though, great times from you both.

Like the hillclimbs as a kind of alternation although I'm even slower than usual.  :P

Was able to improve my time from 5:05 to something around 4:41 in the Capri, but had two
horrible runs and eventually quitted before the end. Outstanding times on top  :thumbup2:

However I would like to suggest to reduce or to halve the standby times between the single starters
in order to make it a bit less boring to wait.

CU next week.

I risk to be passed if we reduce the standbye times  ;D
Anyway I had a horrible first run cause the car it seemed different from the practice that I had the day before and at the first brake the car went on the wrong site and spun, then another spun on braking. Did some tweaking at setup and the second was better but always sloooow. The third I was trying to be consistent but at the fast part my shifter went from 5th to 2nd instead to 4th and the car went off loosing a lot of time.
I like rally and usually race with RBR World, a nice mod of RBR where there is also Luceram, but there we have a codriver that tell the notes.
