Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Have sorted out my force feed back but have spent a lot of time trying to get the same setup as before! I am unable to find the setting to see the other drivers lap times and positions along the top of my screen. ??? Assistance to sort this would be appreciated.  :)

It is "Toggle Position Bar" in the Controls/Key Bindings menu, by default it is the "8" key (above U & I, not on the number keypad).

It loads for a while entering the lobby and then kicks me back to the multiplayer screen.

I took the advice of the R3E peeps n deleted my control presets, loaded the new one. I obviously didn't update all the key bindings, as I didn't have any control of the pitstop. All sorted now, just a smidge too late...  ??? ::)

It looks like I didn't need to pit anyway, all for nought, tonight at least.

I had to have a  couple of goes to join after my update, But enjoyed the races. GOod close racing  8)

Results will be delayed as the system won't recognise the track, though we have used it many times before.

Must have been set from Sunday's event. I thought I'd better pit in case the game DQ'd me.

Race 1, nice side by side battle with Matt  8)

Race 2, got squeezed entering the chicane on lap 1 when I was left no space  ::)

Shan't bother with these again.

Had trouble joining, got on at end of practice. I had problems braking, lockup, very little practice spent most of the time binding the controls (had visitors staying). The pit stop fooled me wasted ages looking for pit entrance!  ??? ::)

Sorry for the contact in the chicane GT, seems we were 3 wide and being in the middle I was always in trouble. No idea which side you were on but I got spun around to and had rejoined several seconds behind the main group. Good news is that's another race without the game crashing and was the event that it last crashed in. Maybe the overclocking tweaks I made have fixed it, or maybe I got lucky and then the game updates did. Either way I can look forward to events a bit more without think the game will give up on me.

Great consistent pace again JP, again I had cold tyres and really noticed it in the first race where I struggled to get the front end to bite. Seemed a bit better in the 2nd.

What a mess with the race settings. Mandatory pit stop that was not so mandatory apparently. Pitted because I feared I was going to get DQ'd for race 2, finished 6th because of it then got dumped to last starting place anyway for race 2 because apparently I "won" race 1. The race results shown on screen were untouched. Then race 2 was 20 laps, not 20 minutes, so my engine started sputtering with one lap to go, which ruined the battle with Matt.

Seems I am no longer up to the job. Appologies for any confusion. I usually check carefully all the
options, but sometimes Stephens setting get missed. I promise I will buck up.  :hang:

Apologies for my part in the chicane incident in race 2 - after GT got squeezed into the wall at the entry I went ahead through the second part, but with Pete close alongside I should have given a bit more space there. Sorry that you both got spun around.

I was doing low 5s in practice and confident of a good showing here, but the races turned out very differently. In race 1 I seemed to be really struggling to keep up on the straights, even when in a tow. Managed to stay reasonably close with Geoff and Pete around the rest of the lap but I convinced myself I had the wrong gearing, so dropped the final drive down a click for the second race in search of a bit more acceleration. Big mistake..! I was now geared far too short and ended up losing even more time on the straight, but this time with the added bonus of increasing oil and water temps. My engine damage steadily increased through the race, and my fuel consumption was also significantly worse and I ran dry on the last lap. Damn.

I had fuel issues race 2 as well. Had loads left after race one so took a click out expecting the same length race, or even 1 lap shorter as John crossed the line to start the last lap of race one with 1 or 2 seconds left. Hadn't assigned any keys for a pitstop so hoped I'd get some more fuel if I stopped but I didn't. Thankfully though this dropped me back so I was only a few seconds in front of first place. I let JP passed and then only had to do 19 laps. Still ran out as I crossed the finish line!

Perhaps I was more cautious. Noticed that it had gone to 20 laps, but my thought was it's not going to be much different
as the lap time was around a minute. I guess the one extra lap caught some out.

We could do with two R3E servers, as despite my attempts some Sunday settings get missed. I don't think
we can do that, it's either running a server or it's not.

Those races were frantic & fun, just a shame that the pitstop confusion messed up some people's races.

Both my races featured some great scrapping for 2nd place, unfortunately early mistakes in both meant I missed out on any possibility to challenge John for the wins. In the first I braked too late for the T1 hairpin & had to go straight on to avoid ramming John. Had some great dicing with Frex, Toni & Pete for the podium places & just beat Pete to the line to snatch 2nd.

In race 2 I messed up the chicane on lap 1 by clipping the barriers at both apexes which let John through & a couple of laps later I hit a neutral at T1 & nearly spun when I jammed it back into 1st gear. Played catch up for the next few laps before again dicing with Frex & Toni for 3rd & then Matt for 2nd. All good fun  ;D.

Well I wasn't expecting that! I thought the Pete and Frex had the pace and would be gone in the race. I tried a tweak to the suspension just before race one which must have worked and ended behind Pete after the first corner. Great fun racing with you and loved how you managed to come out of the last hairpin sideways onto the straight keeping your speed. Managed to draft Pete and out brake him into turn one and make my escape. Race 2 was much the same and had a good battle with Martin and I think I pulled of the same move into turn 1  and made my escape again. Do love these things but it feels like a lifetime waiting for them to accelerate on the main straight!

Not sure the results are right? I thought I won both races or maybe there was a penalty?

I wonder if the results have been influenced by the pitstops. I believe Toni did one in the first race, was he the only one other than Eck who failed to re-enter the race after?

I believe that if you did not pit you got a 90s penalty. Would it be better to rerun this at the end of the series?

Can re run it easy enough. I will do that unless someone objects
