In 1967 the drivers had skill enough, to make a standing start.  They did this, even though pointing in the wrong direction, at the start. ???

Surely, Berrettini will have finished with Djokovic in time for racing :)

I will try to be present. I am interested in these tests and their results. On the server a while ago I had no problems but I was on my own. Magny Cours, Paul Ricard and Vila do Conde, among others, are tracks to keep in mind.

Good race, no problem with the circuit.
I was just missing 30 km / h with the Lola... ;)

That was great fun.

The Mirage is the one with top speed of the middle pack (Lola, Ferrari, Mirage), but even then it lacks in handling and acceleration.
And it was very telling that when even with a tow it could hardly keep up with the MkIV if it's in clean air.

So I had to get the pace from getting the corners right, but even then the MkIV Axel drove was just superior.
However, I managed to drive without mistakes and strong consistency whereas the others around me did, and so I took the checkered flag first.

I've gotten quiet after a few appearances last year but I might pick it up at Season 39.
See you there maybe :)

My POV if you are interested.

A rather thin grid to take in this test.  We need as many as we can taking the start to assess the success of the new disco patch.

Rather a lonely time at the back in the Alfa T33 but at least I got some time in the little Italian puddle-jumper here at LeMans.  I did some rough mental calculations at the start based on the fact that I was fully 20 seconds a lap down on pace and figured that I'd see the leaders come up on me with about six laps to run.  Pretty much on cue, WOOSH!, Axel ripped by on the Mulsanne in the Mk4 Ford with better than 50mph(80kph)in hand closely followed by Yannick.  Bit of a shock to see Axel promptly shunt the Ford at the Hairpin.  OUCH!

I got a lovely tow off one of the Ferraris on the Mulsanne when they came through and picked up about 9mph over the typical top end for the T33.  Only drama was buggering the chicane on around Lap03 where I clipped one bank on the right which promptly through me over the road to the other bank on the left.  PRANG!  Lucky to get away with that.

TY for hosting!  :)

Congrats Yannick and Axel!

It was good to see that the patch may have helped, but as Doni said, it would have been nice to have a larger field for the test. I think this was the 3rd time I tried the Ferrari at Lemans online. This was the first time I didn't get a screen freeze or disconnect.

I wish I would have been a little better prepared. I struggled with the turn at Mulsanne throughout the race. Everywhere else the car worked decent. Luckily I didn't need a shovel to get myself off the sand bank. That would have put me at the rear of the field had Doni not driven such a "slow" car. It was a bit difficult dealing with Pete's Mark IV but once I got by he didn't stand a chance through the second half of the lap.

Thanks for the fun guys.
