Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read

If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Well, we all know that the obvious winner will be some lightweight British or French piece of kit but I wonder if there's still real men in UKGTL who are going to enter a racing car with a decent big size engine fitted?

I was contemplating using a Mini, but then I discovered that was not allowed. You cannot imagine how disappointed I was  :shifty: :shifty:

Now I will have to wrestle some Detroit Iron and inadequate tyres for 34 laps around Ireland........life is soooo tough sometimes  ::)

I am going with Elan as I have a setup for it. (lazy)  :oops:

After a big damage, my lotus was driving strange. I stop on the pit, ok for repar and other, but after, I wait, I wait, I wait, I don't remember witch button for return on the track, I click escape, big mistake.

the question I ask myself is:

how do we get back on the road after the pit stop?  :P

When the timer at the top of the screen announces the length of the pit stop, you just go; drive out again - and don't forget to (re)activate the pit limiter.

This assuming you have started the pit stop alright by stopping in the right place, done your selection on the pit board, and pressed 'Enter' to get things going.

Quite a fun race in the Mercedes, in fact I was quite surprised how competitive it was against the American powered machinery. Obviously there was no competition against the trio of fast Elans but I had good fun holding 4th place & seeing how long I could stay ahead of Matt's Daytona. He eventually did catch & pass me & pulled away for a few laps but I guess his tyres were then past their best & I started to catch him again. Unfortunately I then got a tyre on the grass braking for Lola (T4) & spun off, so ending any chance of retrieving 4th place. Quite pleased to finish 5th in the slowest car.  ;D

I'll be honest, having missed so many rounds it felt I might get in the way, which I didn't want to do.....and then I saw it was Mondello, so that made my decision much easier ;D

Apologies to Dan for my wimpy car choice for this.  Had used all the heavy metal earlier, so they weren't available.  Only crazy option was the TVR, which I unexpectedly had available after missing the previous race. However, testing on Sunday revealed it to be just too much on this track; akin to taming a bucking bronco.  Every lap would have been a struggle, and I shuddered to think about how the tyres would be after 34 laps.  So stuck with the Elan, which I had saved for the rerun of this race.

In retrospect I should probably have gone with the wacky TVR, as that would at least have provided some entertainment.  As it was, I sat in the limbo between the unbeatable Bulgarians and the rest of the field, in a very boring race.  Did briefly steal the lead, as both gents were mugged by some Detroit iron at T1 on the first lap, but both getting back in front was just a formality.  So only distractions came from lapping slower cars - and a laugh at seeing Dan do pirouettes at T1  :D

Grats to DD & Hristo; commiserations to those with troubles

Another awesome fight with Hristo here. We were much faster than the others because of the car but it was so much fun.

Unfortunately at the replay I saw few blocks by me so apologies to Hristo for that. He knows it wasn't intentional.

At the end Hristo was faster and deserved to win but I've got lucky.

Grats to H and Coyote, it was great race where I gave everything.
