Onto the final, final fun event before next season (as people asked for an extra week).
In what I think might be a 1st at Srou we are taking the Cayman GT4 Clubsports' for a sound thrashing around Goria-thun.
This is a fantasy track, but is easily believable as real due to the attention to detail - it's also a fantastic layout that I can honestly say I wish was real!

For this event we'll have a pair of 20 minute sprints as a double header

Another car with a great soundmod available - this time it's a venerable Fonsecker mod:

All simracing.org servers seems to be down...again.

Edit: I just tried this combo and it was quite boring, track itself may be okeish with some other car than this...

Great combo - If you think the car doesn't suit the track then you haven't learnt it yet - Pushing the Cayman to it's limit here is vastly rewarding!

I accidentally started the first race from the pits but managed to fight back and win it - decided for fun to try it again the 2nd race but Max had made some car improvements and got his eye in a bit better so had to settle with finishing some 4 seconds down.

Great race - with a decent grid it would have been amazing.
Thanks to those who turned up :)

lets be honest though, you'd have whooped me if we'd started side by side  :D

I will try and find some time to practice and get back into it more for the Lambo cup  ;)

Decent combo this. Porsche was better than I remembered it being and was a good match for the track.

As for the races, I forgot where I was on lap one, race one and went off track and had to chase back. I didn't realise traction control was on by default with the Cayman so switched it off for race two but was then caught out by that at the hairpin and spun around  ::)

I think the Lambo is going to be a tough drive here, for me anyway.

Seeing the track layout above did kinda put me off. I hadn't driven the car ever so was still a bit open to things.
I think i only really got comfortable there in the last half of the second race, took a while mainly because of the car, didn't like it at all. For a track with so many corners, a car that understeered so much felt like it was a bit of a battle...

I will be looking forward to the Lambo around here!
