Title: The future of Sunday nights
Post by: SRW on October 05, 2021, 09:00:16 PM +0100
I am running this poll to get peoples opinion on what the future of Sunday nights should be. GT seems adamant that we should stick to one Sim. I am not convinced either way at the moment, i have AC,ACC,RRE & RF2 and participate in series for all of them (Tuesday nights over at SRO feature a mix of ACC & RF2 and get decent grids).

Being that we have very much been about GT cars here, Raceroom only really has the GT3 class that feels balanced and feels 'modern'. The GT2's and GT1's just feels like a collection of random cars, never feeling balanced.

I'm more than happy to try out the pay mods for AC.

I voted AC and ACC, because that's all I race, but either/both is fine...

Not committing to anything though, already running wednesdays AC and so sundays will be an afterthought if there is time,  but if its interesting I will surely try and make it :)

Results are clear, is there any changes coming or was this poll just for fun?

We will be switching to just AC and see how it goes. We will be racing two bi weekly series, I still have some polls to run on which cars to use. More news this weekend!

With some good proposals with vintage cars,
I could like it... ;)

In AC we generally run vintage/classic cars on Wednesdays and more modern cars on Sundays but perhaps this also needs looking at as we are probably losing some AC drivers to GTL :-\

I'm pretty sure we would attract a few more GTL drivers to AC if we swapped around Sundays and Wednesdays?

it should not be to the disadvantage of GTL... ;)

Dont worry, we will not be running old historic barges on a Sunday night  ;)

Thursdays and Saturdays seem to be good opportunities.
(Tuesdays and Sundays, I run on gpl)

feel free to advertise, on various sites, like gt legend. I came to UkAc only because I saw the Hurrican Championship post.
then I telephoned tom guerout to tell him.
result: tom is interested

advertising communication is important. Can be also posted on gpl?
I come from gpl, personnaly
