Season 39 - 1967 F2 - Goodwood 65

                                                AMS RACE  


This race is at Goodwood, which is situated near Chichester, West Sussex, close to the south coast of England, on the estate of Goodwood House. The circuit is famous for holding the annual "Goodwood Revival" Historic car meeting and for an accident that finished the career of Stirling Moss. In 1962, Stirling was competing in the International 100 race for Formula One cars when, towards the end of the race, he was attempting to pass Graham Hill’s BRM V8 on the outside of Fordwater bend when his car shot onto the grass and struck a low bank protecting spectators. At the time of the accident Stirling was two laps behind Graham Hill, who went on to win the race. Stirling was delayed by a stop for attention to his gear change mechanism and carburettors, and was in no position to challenge for the lead; nevertheless it didn't stop him trying to unlap himself.

Handicapping:
Drivers will be allocated 10 tokens at the start of the season with a further 10 tokens for each race they start (including their first race). A driver who fails to start any of the first 4 races will only be eligible for an initial allocation of 5 tokens (rather than 10) but will still receive a further 10 tokens for each race they start (including their first race).

is it possible to know how many tokens available for each driver before adding 10 ?

Yes just hover your mouse over your championship total on the Championship page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=1571&theme=6) and the tokens are displayed. You've got 4 tokens before the next race start.

Could you add a function for mobile users, I can't view it and won't be home until briefly before the GPLRACER race today haha

My compliments to D.Rainier for the race without mistake also if a little displacement of his rear in the Lavant curve trow me out.
Anyway my race was full of mistake and also the overtake of Dave is son of my previous mistake.

I got tangled up in a start line incident. A brief look at the replay, David moved a little toward the centre, at the same time Philippe was outdargging me because he had better start. I think I kept a straight line but there just was no room for 3 cars on the part of the track. (Not sure what happened to Philippe - looks like a Disco folllowing that incident?)
