Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Very hard car/track combination. Training hard will be required. Be careful at the beginning, there is a spike at the guardrail.

Oh you have found the spike already. What about the lamp post's and the concrete filled hay bails?

Actually I DNF one race in Altbierbude because of it.

2:13.3 from me. I upload the setup if someone wants to take a look. Maybe lowering the tire pressure can bring more pace, we will see.

Yep, I can believe that. We had a race here once and only one driver (out of nine) finished. And that driver was Dominick.

Do all cars have few types of tires? My yellow Ferrari has only Pirelli...

The blue one I was using Tony, was def. from the new car set (with UKGTL suffix), and it has 2 types of Dunlop.  I do have the same, non-UKGTL car in my garage too, so dunno if the two share files and that explains it. Would seem unlikely I would think, as I have just installed the new set, allowing it to overwrite overlapping files.

Yep, it's a file duplication thing. The files are in two different locations.

To fix this go to your Teams and Cars folder and look for these files.

Aston_Martin_Vintage_30V2.tyr
250TR_VM55_b.tyr
Dunlop_VM2.tyr

The correct files all have a date of 14/03/2021. These should be left as is.

All other files found should be renamed using Notepad by changing .tyr to something else e.g. .tyrsaf.

I hope this helps.

A little gutted to have to quit when I was beginning to enjoy myself.
I had a slide which put me in the undergrowth and then, made such a horlicks of the rejoin that I was in a very dangerous place for cars approaching.... so I hit the ESC key.

I found the Merc extremely stable and driveable, but the Ferrari 250 setup that I found in the online folder was like driving on ice!! Fun, but ultimately was going to end in tears  ::)

On paper a track I should love: street/road circuit, fast sweeping bends and some elevation changes. In reality though, all the more or less hidden traps weigh it down - they seem put there with the specific purpose of ruining your day.

Very surprised to run away with pole, given DD's phantomish lap time in practice, but his stream from qual shows how little it takes to compromise your lap on this track.  In offline practice I hit the spike you talk about, flipping my car onto the other side of the barrier.  Never encountered that invisible alien or whatever it was you ran over in the same area though  :)

DD took the lead on L1, and unsurprisingly, I couldn't keep up - he had after all gone around 3 secs faster than my best on reduced fuel, so not much I could do.  My fight was with the guys behind - initially Matt & Dan, but I think they had trouble at the first hairpin after a couple of laps, and were replaced with Fulvio.  He seemed to drive a very steady race, so I could never relax, even if the gap was stretching; just so easy to screw up and ruin the race.

Grats to DD on the win & Fulvio on 3rd.  Commiserations to the victims of the track.

Btw, anyone else have a very weird sounding Mercedes?   From the outside, in replays, it sounds normal, but from the inside, it's like two different engine noises are mixed together.  One of them sounds like a vague version of the Merc SLR.  Dunno if it's another file mixup.

I knew this circuit from Altbierbude as I said earlier. I was quick there but as I also said - I had to DNF because of the spike: see 1:09:30 here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6nkK09pbiU

So I had to be careful especially after I hit a post at one of the fast right corners that was more solid then the Moon itself.

At the quali I just couldn't make the amazing 2:11 from practice, maybe the pressure now was making impact. I was just 2 thousands of the second behind Erling.

At the stat everyting was OK and after Coyote made a small mistake, sliding the car I was now leading the race and I was able to keep it, crossing the chequered flag first.

Sympathies to the victims of the circuit and grats to Erling and Fulvio on their podiums. Great beginning ot 2022 for Fulvio with a win and a podium - hope he will be more present this year.

Not me Guv, my Merc sounded fine. And I've not touched the sound files, honest.

Go to your Sounds folder and within you should have a folder called AMG_6,8l_SEL

I do have that folder.

Weirdly, I just looked at my hotlap replay with the Merc, and here it sounds fine from the inside (as fine as the dull default Merc sounds can be).  Will have to try driving it again, to see if the issue repeats itself then.

Regarding the tyre files.  In my LM55 folder, I have folders for the (UKGTL) Aston & Ferrari.  Each has the correctly dated .tyr files and no other.  However, the LM55 folder also has folders for those two cars without the (UKGTL) suffix, from my previous installations of these cars.  These have older .tyr files, so it seems the game gets the files from there instead of the (UKGTL) folders.  Sorting wise, the 'original' folders comes before the UKGTL ones, so depending on what the game is looking for, it maybe finds these first.

Merc is a little different: In the GTC-65 folder, I have a 'Mercedes 300SL' folder. It contains sub folders named 'SL_LM 55' & 'SL_LM 55 (UKGTL)' respectively.  The UKGTL one has the Dunlop_VM2.tyr file, the non UKGTL one has no .tyr files at all.  Don't recall seeing any tyre choices for the Merc.  Regarding sound; the UKGTL folder contains a Mercsounds.aud file, as does the main 'Mercedes 300SL folder'.  The non UKGTL folder has a MercSounds.aud.disabled file.  Seems I will have to experiment with these if the problem persists.
