Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I seemed to disco with only 3 laps left....Highly unusual, first time in the new house that I can recall.

Kind of put me out of my misery, really happy to have got all the drives of the Stratos done!

I thought that I would use this event as a reason to use my final Porsche drive.
I cannot say that I like the car and I struggle lap by lap to extract any good times. One lap is fast and the next feels just as quick, but is 2-3 secs slower??
I was trying to drive steadily in last night's race and was keeping Ziu and Daz in sight, mostly thanks to the Porker's warp drive on the long straight. Then Daz had a spin at the Esses and in trying to avoid him I think I bumped over some kerbs rather harshly. It might have been elsewhere, but something deranged the rear left suspension in such a way that the tyre was now running red hot and what little handling I had enjoyed before, vanished.
The car was all but undriveable and after 2 laps of excursions and a final crunch into the armco, I quit.
I could perhaps have limped to the pits and attempted a repair, but experience tells me that a 20 minute pitstop was not going to improve my finishing position.

PS for anyone interested.....UKGPL are holding their annual get together at the The Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting at the end of July. Some of us are camping for the weekend, one or two are intending to visit for a day.
As we are all simracers, we would be glad to see anyone from UKGTL who fancies a chat (about how much better GPL is as a sim  ::)) and probably a pint ( or two)  ;).

Didn't want to use my last Pantera drive here, so had to be one of the others.  In the Lancia & Porker, I spent most of my praccy time going backwards, so settled for the Beemer.

Surprisingly, some notable improvements of my pb initially indicated I was heading for pole, but unsurprisingly, that didn't happen, when Daz & Michael both posted marginally quicker times.  Managed to jump both at the start, and surprisingly neither staged comebacks.  After a lap, my immediate chaser was Ziu.  Bad news for me, given his current level of speed & consistency.  For many many laps, the gap was 2.5 - 3 secs, so no room for errors.  After 40 laps, the gap was around 6-7 secs. Left front all but gone after 30 laps, but Ziu apparently affected by tyre wear as well.  Beginning of lap 42, the gap had jumped to 12+ secs, so he must have had an off.  A gift for me, as I could drive with less risk, and allow myself to lose a few secs over the final laps.

Tough race; grats to Ziu & Michael, the only other remaining drivers at the finish, and commiserations to all the early (and late) retirees
