The Capri and 911 are probably the easiest to drive out of that lot.

Thanks Ruskus, for trying, but that didn't help me one bit. Is the 69 and 74 the same as the 65 and 76, or do I miss the right ones?

And by the way, how can you guys see how much fuel you use/need?

Okay, I've got it, just logged on to practice session. But strangly when I set up my own game, they're called 65 and 76.

But I still have no clue to how much fuel I need, and how to find this out.

the corvettes don't show how many laps your current load of fuel will give?

It should show right in the car setup screen.

You should dump 21 laps of fuel into it

Thanks, but in last weeks mini race, the setup screen was way off. And I'll probably go for the Capri tonight.

One  more thing: If I disconnect from practice, and try to reconnect, it'll just get back to the server list. Often I need to exit the game, and start it again, then I'll get straight in. Does anyone have this problem and know why? :-\

I'm going to have to give this one a miss.  My son's not been a happy little man this evening, only just got him off to sleep (I hope).

No laps under the belt, and more crucially I've not eaten yet ...... so hope you all have a good one.

I think that was me who bumped you splint.

It would have been due to lag if anything, because on my screen you were a good 6 inches in front of me, sorry for the race ruiner.

Great race up untill some BS came up at home, which prompted me to spin, smack the wall, and ultimately have to quit out of the game to take care of that BS.

Was almost half way done too :(

Well done Baracus, nice win :thumbup2:
Nice podium finish for 1p and ASSASSINO also :thumbup1:
Big respect for all the guys that spun and keep racing
A bit less for the lad that (when i was fighting for 3rd place, bump to bump)
hit me, made me spun, falling to 7th far away from the front guys :helpsmilie:
and 2 laps later he spun and quit race :nono:
Thats not the spirit of UKGTR/GTL drivers
Anyway, i believe you hit me unintentionally, but leave a race because a spin
i managed finish 4th, but too far from the podium :alien:

Thanks all for fairplay during this eternity 20 Monza laps :D

Cheers

No worries dude, these things happen, If I hadnt lost my head after the first corner I would have been fine, my times were good.

Great race guys!!!

Qualified 3rd, only to see Assassino spin comically into the wall on the warmup lap, which effectively put me 2nd behind the extremely well sorted Pantera of Baracus. Race start and all goes smoothly into turn 1, but 1p is behind me and clearly thinks its a 40 second race rather than a 40 minute one.  ::)
Cue the inevitable last of the late braking manoeuvres into the chicane to get past me, followed by the inevitable spin right in front of me, followed by the inevitable cut warning I get for taking evasive action  :wetfish:
My setup wasn't great and after the cut warning so early on I had to back off and drive conservatively into all the chicanes to avoid risking a stop and go penalty. This allowed Baracus to pull slowly away, while the nearest car behind was well out of sight by lap 3. Droning round Monza on my own like its a practice sesh.....   cue the inevitable falling asleep at the wheel and waking up with my nose wedged into a concrete wall  ::)
The car was undriveable after that because it would only turn left - great for ovals, not so great for Monza. I pitted for what seemed like 25 minutes for repairs, and rejoined last of the runners. Several guys dropped out though, so I somehow managed to salvage 6th despite finishing nearly 2 laps down.  ???

I would have stayed in the race no problem as my spin was very minor, but some RL issues came up which actually caused the spin in the first place. Kind of peed me off, as my entire week of practicing and tweaking the Pantera was a waste to only complete 7 laps.

Sorry for bumping you as well, I bounced off the rumblepad into your rear quarter panel on that tight 3rd gear turn.

Was running in 6th or 7th i think in the 911, but quite a way off the pace of the Pantera's - i think i had a short battle i had was with Morten, but nothing after that - thought it was gonna be a good turnout too  :-\

Anyway, congrats all who raced & well done 8)

No problem Splintheter.
For once I had someone to race, but sadly I lost my consentration a bit and drove straight into a wall, after that my car didn't turn very well, and I could see smoke in my rear view mirror. Drove a couple of laps and then my engine died. The strange thing was that my water temp was dead in the center and my oil pressure was at the top all race, so much for a warning about engine failure. First I just thought the smoke came from a tire rub or something.

Well, had some nice 12 laps anyway, thanks guys. But I don't get why people always quit just because they're 1 lap down or last, would be nice to race someone back here.

Yes, will, a nice battle, but suddenly you just disappeared, or was that me.

Strangely my retirement reason is suspension, when my engine died. Well I guess the game had to choose something, so why choose something obvious :D

I´m not sad for your bump, i just dont appreciate when people spin and quit, thats all :)
I surelly know you had no intention to hit me :)

Congratulations Madd-Rip, congratulations all podium
I qualified 4th, behind 2 GT40 and Baracus Elan, not bad
1st or 2nd lap (1st mistake) i spun entering the stadium section  recovering.............
let all field pass and there i go, in last  recovering.......
3rd lap (2nd mistake) i spun at the big straight, fall to last again  recovering..........
4th lap (3rd mistake) i spun exiting the stadium section, last position again  recovering.......
Then , after another recovering places, BANG ! I was hit and spun
then , after another recovering places, BANG ! I was hit again by the same driver and spun
then  after.........you know................BANG ! I was hit again ..........you know.........
by the same 2 last hits driver....hahahahahahahahahhahahahaha , was crazy but fun
No problem at all, because i know that was all unintentional m8, i had my race screwed, anyway.
So, at the end i was having brake, suspension, steering and whatever issues
Was a different fun race, thanks all.
Cheers.........................hahahehehehehahahahhihihihih

Really shame I missed this one. I was going to take the big mean green Vette. I can remember doing 2:00 or 2:01 laps so that would prolly make it an interesting race. It's just a shame I just had my internet back  :(. Friday is the last day I have to wait for their tech support to work, if it isn't fix yet after that, I'll send a union after their a$$es.

A really great race that I managed to actually cross the finish line :)

Had some great close racing with Assassino for a while too. At one point I outbraked myself and only just managed to avoid taking us both out. Hell - i dont know how I missed you, we both must have the luck of the devil.

Unfotunately i got a cut track warning once - so hope that dont put the mockers on my 5th pos?

I couldn't find a setup for either the Capri or Porsche 911 that I could drive consistently.  :(  The 911 setup that was OK for Kylami had snap oversteer at the chicanes and I spun off each time.  A less severe setup was acceptable for two to three laps only, then terminal oversteer set in.  Also I found slowing down difficult on line, I had to brake 50 to 75 yards/metres earlier than off line and I felt I would be a hazard to other drivers hence I quit during qualifying.   ::)
