Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Nice track, but I do hate that Porsche - how can a car with such wide rear tyres, and with all that weight on them, have so little grip?  Even when you're just tip-toing through a corner, with neutral throttle, the damn thing is trying to kill you!!  Did the mod/car makers get it all wrong, or were the real things really like this?

Surprised to find myself 2nd on grid, but Micha's swap from Porker to Beemer no doubt helped.  By some fluke at the start, I wound up ahead of Daz.  Not part of the plan - just trying to prevent the bloody car from swapping ends, requires about 110% of my feeble skills; actually racing someone is pure overload!   Got a small gap on L1, which was surprising, as my opening laps on cold tyres rarely is something to write home about.  Daz soon up to speed though, probing & prodding for a way past. Put me even more on the brink of losing control, as I was trying to make room, in case he followed through on them, but that put me on unfamiliar lines into corners, which is suicidal with this car. Thus a relief when he placed himself to force me to let him past into the 1st chicane.

Behind me, Michael was initially closing the gap, till under 2 secs, but then it started going the other way - he may have had even more problems than me with tyre wear kicking in.  Most of the race thus a survival game, trying to avoid the ever looming disasters.

Grats to Daz on the win & 2nd in the Championship.  Grats to Michael for completing the podium, and to Ziu for 3rd in the series.

Series was great, even with the dreaded Porker...  8)

I think the 934 might be relatively true to life in terms of being a very tricky car, memory tells me I have read that in an article previously...

Enjoy this track a lot, even with the twiddly annoying chicane at the start of the lap. Had to be the Porsche here, and I do very much enjoy this 934, even if I am alone in that. Used the same setup from Nords, and I definitely had longer gearing than Erling, hence his blast away at the start. I did get the initial launch, but lost my engine sound in the rest, and cautiously came out of the throttle causing the revs to fall out of the power band.

Chased Erling down, trying to use my top speed advantage on the long run out the back, but yet again he was most definitely not up for just giving in :thumbup1:, a real moment into the fast stuff was very much a code brown situation in my car! Didn't really fancy trying to squeeze through at the chicane, but it became obvious after a couple of laps that it was going to be the best place to get alongside. Made that work, and went on my way, pulling time every lap. Nearly lost it all with one spin, but pulled away again. Tires became a bit of an issue as the race went on, but in truth once I had the one spin out of the way it was fairly under control.

Great series this, although I made a pigs ear out of it many times, not helped with not sorting the fuel tanks out early enough in the season affecting at least 3 races I can think of, my mistake entirely. Erling has been super consistent all season (when isn't he?.....) and takes a thoroughly deserved title, again.

Grats to Erling - excellent at all times  :thumbup2: :jumpjoy:
Grats to Ziu - fantastic pace in these tricky cars  :thumbup2:

Thanks Daz; with the alien influx of recent seasons, me scooping up any more titles wasn't really in the cards, but irregular showing from the tentacled lot provided opportunities - when the cat's out...  :D
