Round 2 of this festive challenge and we have 3 teams of drivers, all in fancy dress still ready to do battle.

The cars allocations have changed, but the Teams and the drivers stay the same
The track is to be the ROUENWINTER.

Currently we have 15 names for this race which will give 3 x teams of 5 cars. If we get another 3 names today they will be added to the teams. If we have a spare driver there is a special role reserved for them which will be announced if that happens....watch this space shifty

Special Rules for this race. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

All PRO drivers are allowed a single SHIFT/R which must be followed by a STOP and GO in the pit lane
All AM drivers have unlimited SHIFT/R and no requirement for any Stop 'n Go

THIS RACE WILL NOT BE MONITORED FOR INCIDENTS, EXCEPT FOR STOP and GO's. Not that we would expect anyone to cheat !! Roll Eyes

Scoring will be from 18 down to 1 for all finishers, so making it to the flag is important for ALL team members.

Rouen in Winter is great but it was a bit of a faff to install. I had to download several files from 2 separate threads on SRMZ. Here (http://gpltd.bcsims.com/?sbtd=rouenwin) and here (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=12667&hl=%2Brouen+%2Bwinter). I didn't install the patch that reduces the grip!

So I've zipped up my rouenwin folder, you can download it here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/15bGVpX9fEbsfYXiP_0s2m104qPbBPOvo/view?usp=sharing).

Just unzip it in your "sierra\GPL\tracks" folder.

You will have to add the track to the 66season.ini file either manually by adding this code (not forgetting to update the Event number):

OOPS!!! What a duufus ::)

Friday is New Years Eve of course, and despite Covid etc many will have other plans. Or at least will be required to be involved with their families???

So maybe we can run this on Sunday if there are enough members interested?

Sunday is scheduled GPL Masters around the same time, and some guys here are classified. What about tomorrow, the 30th.

How about Round 2 of Santa v Elves v Snowmen on Tuesday 4th.

For those of us not involved in the 'Masters' we could run a fun race on Sunday at Rouen in Winter. 1967 F2's - free choice of car & free resets?

Yes a fun race would be good. It would give Clive some more practice starting the server ;)
