Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Tony, I get 'Car not present on server' when I try to join with one of the standard Panteras (both the red & yellow ones)

Is this an error, or is it not the standard cars we're to use?

Quite some race last night.

Messed up my hottest quali lap, which may have got me really close to the front 2, but made up for it with a decent jump at the start to take the lead.

Micha and Manfred were both probably a touch faster than me on average, and I was pressed to keep my 1 second gap, eventually spearing off at Lesmo 2 letting them both through. By the time I had recovered they were 7-8 seconds on front and they then continued to pull away as my car had a little bit of damage meaning Parabolica and Biassono were now losing me time. Slowly got some pace back, then Micha made a couple of errors, the first of which Manfred waited for him so I closed on both of them, the second enabling me to slide into 2nd and now chase Manfred.

I am guessing he started to run short of grip, as in between fast sectors he was losing a little time, and eventually made an error that meant I went through. From there it was a bit nip and tuck, a few nails were nibbled, but I held on for the final 4 laps to sneak a win I didn't feel I really deserved after binning it out of the lead like I did.

Great fun though, Pantera always a challenge.....Kudos to the Vette crew, especially anyone brave enough to take the big green monster! I did try it out but decided to take the easier option for a change!

question.

Were all the Vettes the same car with different skins? I was completely perplexed by both Tony and Matt easily beating me for top speed in their green machines, even though I was peddling as fast as I could in the little Red Corvette  :-\

The red one has less power  ::)

I was enjoying that despite my determination to spin into the 1st chicane
but I had set up for front grip, and when the rears wore, it was hard work
having to chase Tony all over again and was getting tired so parked it.

Rather nondescript race for me.  Highlights were the early laps, with a hard fight for 4th with Geoffers.  Ended when I spun in the first chicane. Another spin in Ascari same lap stretched the gap to 7 secs, and a final spin in Parabolica later, doubled it to 15 secs.

With that the race turned the usual lonely, boring stuff.  Hadn't expected to see Geoff again, but with a couple of laps remaining, a dust plume at Parabolica signaled someone in trouble.  With Tony & Dan lol'ing on the chat at the same time, I thought it might be them, but turned out to be Geoffers.  That let me reclaim a not quite deserved 4th place.

Grats to Daz & pod!

Yeh I had a couple of spins myself, one at Ascari on that lap must have damaged the front of the car & lost the front downforce. Got to Parabolica & despite braking a touch earlier the car just did not slow down & ploughed straight on into the gravel trap. Had to take it very steady on the last two laps to avoid under steering off the track at every corner.

Congrats to Daz, Manfred & Micha.
