Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

A hard hit into the armco at turn 1 meant I had to pit to fix steering and suspension damage. At the pit stop I forgot to turn off new tyres so had a complete makeover which took forever. Determined to finish tho even if I was many laps down.

Nice to have a chance to drive the big Capri, not driven it for what felt like about 10 years!

Was a bit later getting on, so had to just find a setup in an old folder and chuck it on, just to get going with some kind of baseline. Wasn't too quick in quali, but I was getting faster every lap as I began to feel more comfortable throwing it around so was thinking I might give Geoffers a race at least.

Missed the launch, too much wheelspin saw Erling pounce, as usual.....In fact, his usual quick start put him alongside Geoff and into the lead by the time we were at the apex of that long turn 2, with myself and Geoffers scrabbling away in an argument for 2nd. This was resolved in my favour at the end of the straight as I just squeezed my nose in front.

Wanted to just settle in and find my own rhythm, but Geoff was persistent in my mirros, and Erling was trying to hot foot it out of dodge in front, so was forced into pushing on before I was really ready to do so as I was under pressure. Pestered Erling, but without making contact this time around thank goodness, in a quest to shake Geoffers off.....this paid dividends when Erling understeered just a touch wide and I used the power to get a run and swoop through. Then had to get the hammer down, wanted to pull a gap whilst the two of them were busy with each other, still fancied Geoffers might have had the edge on pace in all honesty.

However, there must have been some contact, as the gap grew quite quickly, then a few laps later Geoffers was gone from the listings, leaving Erling in second about 15 seconds or so behind.

It was all going OK until I started to lap peeps, and then in trying to say thankyou pressed all the wrong buttons (had my other wheel on the base last night) and ended up going wide and clouting the car in turn 1. Bit of damage ensued, and it didn't like right handers so much anymore, but I was able to drive around it and bring it home without any further mishaps.

I had forgotten how good that car can feel, with a decent setup it is good fun to chuck around as long as you respect the power....

Not a fan of the National layout & I was in two minds about actually racing last night, in the end Mrs Geoffers persuaded me, must have had enough of me during the day  ::).

Bad start to the race, Erling jumped into the lead & I gave Daz too much room at the end of the straight & he nipped by into 2nd. A few laps in Daz took the lead & a couple later I found a way past Erling too only to throw it away with a spin. Nearly caught back up with Erling when he spun out giving me a clear 2nd place, I was just about keeping pace with Daz but he was now 20s up the road. Another spin just before half distance left me stranded in the middle of the track with Erling bearing down on me & as I was not really enjoying the race I needed little excuse to hit 'Esc'. :(

Congrats to the podium.

Never really got along with the Capri, but a Hristo inspired setup at least made it fairly driveable, albeit still with the ability to bite, if you weren't careful.

Jumped the two aliens at the start and had fun holding them up for a few laps. As each has described, first Daz & then Geoff found a way past, only for the latter to spin and hand me back 2nd, with an 8-sec gap.  Once he got into his stride, he was taking out 1-sec bites of the gap each lap, until he got close and I spun at the jump - strangely without jumping, but still..   Geoffers was moving away, when he then spun in the same place as before.  In a slow place and with enough time, I could easily go past without problems, so exiting wasn't called for, but if you're not enjoying the race, then...

From this a lonely affair, until I caught up to some of the drivers behind me.  Daz still extending the gap, even with his damage.  His messages had me puzzled, as they sort of indicated trouble, but still he was moving away, despite my best efforts.

Grats to Daz on unbeatable performance & win, and to Matt.  Commiserations to Geoffers - and what happened to Clive at the end?

Yes, apologies for all the false messages chaps, I was genuinely just trying to find the Thank you button but failing miserably....

I went too wide giving Erling room to lap, and went flying off at the last fast right hander
Daz said "Go right" so he did, and went very right, right across the T1 gravel....
