Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Apologies for the stupid error at the start Tony, I knew the car was liable to do that & was trying to be careful, but still messed it up.  ::)

0 practice 0 setup time. Went for the CSL as it seemed more stable but spun way too easy
Never liked any version of Mondello except perhaps with minis or somthing small.

So easy to mess up at Mondello, I've a litany of bad errors here, and added to it tonight! Absolutely hate the place in pretty much any configuration.

Grats to Erling who kept the car where it should be all race.

I'm with Daz on the track; never liked any version of it, it just feels too constrained, and it's so easy to make mistakes there.

Felt the Capri would be too much here, and as I can't drive the Escort; just hate that car, it left only the Beemers. Actually prefer the lesser of them; the one Geoffers picked, but can't deny the other one is faster, so had to be that one.

Sad to see Geoffers very early and untimely exit, as he was probably my best bet for a close-ish race.  No chance of competing with Daz, who buggered off within a few laps.  Quickly got a fair gap to the cars behind, so shaping up to be a lonely affair.  Deep in my own thoughts, when things took an unexpected turn.  A dust cloud up ahead signalled potential problems for Daz.  As the gap was only 11 secs after I had passed, I fully expected him to come storming back, but one lap later, it was suddenly 26 secs. I didn't know he had gone for the pits, so surprised to see the gap continue growing over the following laps.  With that gap, I could focus on keeping things together, and didn't have to take unnecessary risks.

Regrettable with all the premature exits; grats to Tony and Daz for their podiums.

A bit of a depleted field at Mondello, and although I can't say that I dislike it as much as some of you, I guess I don't love it either.

It was just typical of my luck lately. The innocent victim of Geoff's and Tony's "pas de deux" off the grid, where for the first time in a long time I managed to keep my car more or less straight. I caught Tony's car ( at least I think it was Tony ?) a solid blow to the midriff which would have folded any lesser mortal in half........ and he emerges unscathed!!
My Escort however fared less well and that became apparent at the first real braking zone where the car was happy to go in any direction other than straight ahead, or where the steering wheel was indicating that it should  :-\

I had to brake very early and very gently to maintain control and for a while I was just about maintaining the gap back to Tony. For a while after Daz's trip to the pits I was running in a podium position.
I think the rarified air got to me and after a couple of spins and engine stalls where I could not find a neutral for any amount of trying and discovered that the Clutch pedal was also awol, so that each time I started the engine it stalled again.
After giving Tony a 50 sec lead and allowing Daz to unlap himself to drop me to last place, I decided that I was done!

Grats to all finishers.............liked the cars, at least I did when they were shiny and new!
