Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

This track will never be a favorite of mine. The corner string T2-T3-T4 is one of my most hated ones - especially T3; no matter how agonizingly slow you go, it's still too fast, and no matter how long you wait before going on the throttle, it's always too early.

Race itself a thing to forget.  Initially got well through the usual confusion at T1 on the first lap, with a tight inside line which - very - briefly put me in 3rd, before I was summarily rammed off track by Clive's wayward Pantera.  That dropped me to 7th, but thanks to various moments for other drivers, I was up to 4th when I arrived at the hairpin.  Trailing Dan, waiting for the inevitable, which happened after just a couple of laps: exiting the chicane, his power monster spun, handing me 3rd.

Had Matt in my mirrors for a few laps, but he slipped back. Leaders were long gone, so most of the race was an utterly lonely affair.

Grats to untouchable Manfred & Daz.  Commiserations to the early retirees.

Can't remember if I've mentioned it before, but years ago, at the Copenhagen Classic Grand Prix, I had the opportunity to see and HEAR the red & yellow Panteras featured in GTL.  Sound was unbelievable; thunder on wheels doesn't begin to cover it. I was standing at a tight corner, where they accelerated away. You could feel the vibration through the ground!!  Absolutely fantastic!  :o
