Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Donation done  :)

Don't dislike the track as much as Tony expressed doing, but I do hate T1 & T2. The rest is quite ok, and the back straight chicane is good fun, if you get it right, to blast through it.  The 906 is an old love affair back from the GBGTL days; always my first choice when possible.

The race was hard, but entertaining and quite satisfying. Would of course have been nice to win, but finishing 1 sec behind Ziu, and beating Daz, was really more than I could realistically hope for.

Got a good start, jumping the two aliens and snatching the lead.  Many laps with them in hot pursuit followed.  Around mid-race, Ziu had vanished, apparently suffering a spin, but would recover later.  Daz eventually got past, but a couple of laps later, he overshot under braking, allowing me to reclaim the lead.  Shortly after, he was replaced as lead chaser by Ziu.  At this point my left front tyre was starting to cry 'enough!', and after a few laps chase, I ran a bit wide at T2, giving Ziu the needed opportunity to get ahead.  Chased him as hard as I could over the remaining laps, but had to settle for 2nd.

Grats to Ziu & Daz, commiserations to the early bathers.
