Bad internet connection again. :( It was fine through qualifying. Latency and quality bars went sky high shortly after I fell far behind Andreas. It was going to be interesting to see if I might be able to catch Andreas again.

Thanks for the fun gentlemen, while it lasted.

I didn't think that I'd have time to join this race but a last minute change of plan at home meant that I could fire up GPL with 5 mins of practice to go. I chose the BRM (mistake) and didn't have time to qualify, or a decent set-up. I took a guess at some settings and started from the back of the grid. I jumped David's Eagle at the start but was no match for the faster machinery in front. I survived a couple of laps at race pace and then waited for DR after his jump into the trees. I gave up on any sort of competition after DR's disco so spent the time with my 'track-builders' head on looking at the scenery. Wow! This version of Spa is incredible when you stop to look at the detail. It's provided more inspiration and tips for my next project  ;)

I plodded around waiting for the leaders to be one mile behind before planting the throttle again so that I could pretend that I was in the lead for a bit. Hats off to Angex and Cookie for finishing. Bad luck GT with your connection - let's hope you get it sorted before other UKGPL events.

Thanks to Cookie for organising.
