I have raced this track before and you are very wise to warn drivers of the bumpy track, especially in some of the corners where getting airborne at the wrong moment can bring on instant introductions to the hay bales and barriers.

If you want to experience the porpoising effect that afflicted Mercedes F1, this is the place !!

I've tried to upload results but I get this error...

1 fatal errors; not writing event to database.
Please fix the problems and try again.
Lotus 33 BRM/Reg Parnell Racing/1966/BRM V8/F1-66/ is mapped to car ID -1

Something to do with that pesky Lotus. Any idea how to fix?

All sorted, thanks, Cookie.

Please help! It still has my name down as the server and not UKGPL07. How can I change this?

I've unmapped your forum name from UKGPL07. Seems OK now.

Thanks, Phil.

Also, that was a fun battle at the bouncy Tulln yesterday. Grats to Andreas who was unstoppable up at the front. The rest of us were busy throwing ourselves off the track whilst navigating those bumps. I find the last corner through the haybales quite disorientating and on a couple of occasions I found myself going the wrong side of a bale.

Still, a fun track and proof that UKGPL07 is ready for Season 41.

See you all soon.

I think that there is are 2 versions of Tulln? I certainly remember the original that was like driving on a corrugated sheet, but the version that I was driving last night seemed quite normal? I had to download the track as I no longer had it in my list, complete with an update, was this perhaps what removed the bumps?

Without a setup I grabbed the V8 BRM and borrowed my Brands Hatch setup and it was at best "just driveable" and ran out of revs on the straight, but as this was a server test I was not too bothered. What was more of a problem was the heat in my room  :scared:

Before the race started sweat was running down my back and my legs were sticking to my seat. Eventually I gave up when sweat was running down into my eyes and I just could not see straight lol. I guess I am not alone in suffering from this heatwave, and today it looks a little cooler.

Glad to see that the server test was successful and that UKGPL has yet another resource. Thanks to all of you who have generously provided free servers. I cannot understand the likes of UKGTL who still pay for a commercial server....which is not cheap??!!!
